1550 Messing With the Qin Family(3)

"So the Chu Family is involved in this, huh? But how did they acquire information on all of our monster-hunting teams?" Qin Mulan pondered out loud.

"I'd wager one of our own teams betrayed us, providing the Chu Family with the information they needed. But for them to resort to hiring a Spirit King, they must be quite desperate." Qin Long said.

"Long'er, I'll leave this troublemaker in your hands.." Qin Mulan said to his son.

"I will crush this bastard for daring to mess with my Qin Family!" Qin Long nodded with a cold expression on his face.

Meanwhile, after Yuan made all of the Qin Family's monster- hunting teams quit, he made his way to Yun Yun City, where their dungeon-hunting team was residing in the Eight Point Hotel.

Due to how rare dungeons typically were, most businesses put most of their resources into one team.

The Qin Family's dungeon team consisted of thirty players, all of whom were between Spirit Grandmaster and Spirit Lord.

When Yuan arrived, he used divine sense to scout the hotel and immediately found 20 players with the Qin Family's identification token. According to the intel provided by some of the monster-hunting teams, all of the members of the dungeon team stayed at the same hotel.

"Are the others offline or scouting? Well, it doesn't matter." Yuan pondered what he should do with them.

Sometime later, he forced his way into one of the rooms through the window. Inside, four players were looking at a large map together.

"Who the fuck are you?!"

Yuan's intrusion immediately alerted them because he made no effort to be stealthy.

They swiftly pulled out their weapons and pointed them at Yuan.

"Calm down; I'm not here to hurt you." Yuan calmly raised his hands as if to show that he was harmless.

"Then why are you here?" One of them asked with a suspicious frown.

"I'm here to make you quit working for the Qin Family. I'll even pay for whatever fine you may incur for breaking the contract."

"What…? And why are you doing this?"

"I have some beef with the Qin Family, that's all. So, what do you say?"

"I say… screw off!" The four players in the room suddenly pounced at Yuan with their weapons flying.

However, Yuan didn't even bother dodging their attacks and used his body to block them.

"What the fuck?!"

The players were shocked when their weapons couldn't penetrate Yuan's skin, much less injure him. It felt like they were trying to cut metal with a butter knife.

"It's pointless. You won't be able to kill me even if I went to sleep right now. Anyway, I'll give you one more chance to keep your life. Quit working for the Qin Family or die to me with a chance of becoming a cripple."

Yuan stood before them like a domineering warlord, his aura so intense it made the players gasping for breath.

"W-we will quit…"

They eventually said.

"Alright. One more thing. Are you guys, by any chance, responsible for bullying the Chu Family?" Yuan suddenly asked.

"Huh? The Chu Family…?"

"N-no… we had nothing to do with that…"

"Right? I have no idea what you're talking about."

These players suddenly became nervous, and it was written all over their faces.

"Is that so?"

Yuan suddenly pulled out the Grail of Truth, which was already emitting a bright light.

"Sorry, but it looks like my offer will no longer apply to you anymore."

"W-wha—"

Before any of them could even utter a single word, Yuan waved his sleeve with Sword Aura pouring out.

Three of the players immediately turned into a cloud of blood mist, while one of them only lost an arm.

Of course, he survived only because Yuan allowed him to live.

"Tell me, who else was involved with the Chu Family? Just the four of you, or the entire team?" Yuan asked him, who was kissing the floor with his buttocks, his face filled with fear as snot and tears flowed down his face.

"A-all of us! We were all paid a bonus by the Qin Family to mess with the Chu Family's business!" The player immediately revealed everything.

The Grail of Truth had no reaction, meaning he was telling the truth.

"Is that so? Make sure to tell your buddies to quit, or I'll come after you until you can no longer cultivate." Yuan killed the last player after finishing his sentence.

He made his way to the next room shortly after.

"Who the hell are you?!"

There were five players in this room.

Yuan went straight to business and said, "I'm here to avenge the Chu Family. If you don't quit working for the Qin Family after I kill you, I'll continue to kill you until you lose your ability to cultivate. If you're unlucky to be crippled after one death, that's too bad."

Before any of the players in the room could even respond, Yuan killed all of them with Sword Aura.

He continued doing this until every member of the Qin Family's dungeon team was wiped out. However, there were several that weren't at the hotel, so he waited a few hours for them to show up before moving to his next target.

After waiting for six hours, the rest of the team showed up at the hotel, and all of them were killed after being told to quit working for the Qin Family.

The Qin Family was immediately alerted when Yuan killed the first four players.

"What?! He killed all of them because they were involved with the Chu Family?! This confirms it! That bastard is avenging the Chu Family and targeting our businesses in Cultivation Online!" Qin Mulan slammed his desk that was just replaced, destroying it again.

"Long'er, how are you going to deal with this bastard?" he turned to look at Qin Long, who had a pondering face.

"Since he's targetting our businesses, he'll most definitely show up at our medicine store. I'll wait for him there," he said.

"How are you going to stop him? He's a Spirit King!" Qin Mulan said with a frown.

"So what if he's a Spirit King? I have with me a magic talisman that can instantly kill even a Spirit Emperor! A Spirit King is nothing before me!"Qin Long laughed out loud.

"Good!" Qin Mulan nodded.
