Anyone might have imagined it at least once.

Winning the first prize in the lottery bought a few days ago and becoming a billionaire overnight.

Or digging up gold nuggets or striking oil in the backyard.

Perhaps, one day a man in an expensive suit shows up to tell you, “You’re the son of a famous chairman,” and you inherit a fortune.

But such imaginations cool off the moment they surface.

The chances are too unlikely, and you already know that such luck will not come your way.

I was no different.

I had never expected such fortune to strike my utterly luckless life.

Although the nature of my luck was completely different from what I’d previously described, it was fortune nonetheless.
