Chapter 27 (Continued)
Woo-jin quickly pushed the students next to him and leaped away from the magazine store.
As if anticipating an incident, he had already reinforced his body with magic.
They hit the ground.
Boom!!
The bomb Ha-min had planted exploded, sending out a mysterious blaze.
“Ahhh!”
“Explosion!?”
“There’s a bomb! An explosion!”
The students passing by were thrown into confusion.
So was the person who detonated the bomb.
“What…!?”
Ha-min couldn’t help but be taken aback.
Woo-jin had responded at the perfect timing, preventing any casualties.
Even with animalistic instincts, such a response was unlikely unless he had somehow foreseen the bomb’s detonation.
Woo-jin wasn’t a seer who could predict the future.
In other words, even someone without much insight could quickly understand what this situation meant.
‘Did he know from the start? That the bomb would go off!?’
Ha-min was in shock.
What had happened?
While Ha-min was grappling with confusion, Woo-jin stood up and dusted off his clothes. His gaze didn’t wander but focused straight ahead.
“!!”
Ha-min made eye contact with Woo-jin.
A sharp look.
Cold, teal eyes were fixed solely on Ha-min.
Ha-min instinctively took a step back.
‘Damn!’
He clicked his tongue and discreetly moved. There was a predetermined route in the alley.
After enhancing his body with magic, he quietly ran down the deserted path, confident.
‘What’s going on? Why? How? How did he find out!?’
His disguise, his plan—everything had been exposed.
Otherwise, Woo-jin wouldn’t have responded to the bomb so quickly and then immediately targeted him.
Surely, Woo-jin had recognized Ha-min’s disguised form and watched what he did at the magazine store.
‘Were the rumors true?’
Ha-min had heard rumors that the Disciplinary Committee Leader of Ahsung High School preemptively uncovered Anomia’s plans and was thoroughly informed about their important details.
He had also heard that as a result, the large villain organization Anomia was dismantled in a short time.
At the time, Ha-min had scoffed.
He thought Anomia had been careless with their security, leading to information leaks.
Considering the Disciplinary Committee Leader a monster in intelligence warfare was just their overreaction.
Now, it made sense to him without even realizing it.
Faced with the current situation, Ha-min’s mind was filled with nothing but intense confusion and questions.
However.
‘Even if I was discovered, I still have enough bombs.’
There were still enough cards left to play against the Disciplinary Committee Leader.
The only failure was the ambush.
‘The game has just begun…!’
As he ran, forcing a smile.
Whoosh!
A sharp sound pierced Ha-min’s ears.
Bam!
“Ugh!”
In an instant, Ha-min was struck on the head and slammed into the building’s outer wall.
“What, what the…?”
If he hadn’t reinforced his body with magic, he would have been knocked out.
Dazed, Ha-min looked at the entity that attacked him.
It wasn’t human.
A monster with horns on its head.
Clad in a tattered robe, it held an iron club in its right hand.
‘Goblin?’
Seeing the strange creature, Ha-min thought of the word ‘goblin.’
Its appearance was reminiscent of the goblins from folklore.
Click, click.
The sound of footsteps.
A woman approached.
Ha-min’s eyes widened in astonishment when he saw her.
“Why, why are you…?”
Ha-min’s voice trembled.
Questions arose.
The approaching woman had her pink hair tied back.
She wore a goblin mask on her face and approached with glowing eyes.
Those eyes indicated that her magic was active.
Ha-min couldn’t not recognize her.
In fact, most citizens of Neo Seoul knew her.
Kim Dalbi, one of the Six Sinners.
Also known by many other names like Goblin Princess and Goblin Queen, she was a notorious villain leading an army of goblins.
While Goliath was recognized as the strongest individual in terms of sheer strength, some considered Kim Dalbi, who commanded the goblin army, to be almost invincible.
Ha-min’s mind was in turmoil.
‘What’s happening…?’
It was already bad enough that his plan had been discovered by the Disciplinary Committee Leader, but why was this dangerous powerhouse, Goblin Princess, here in broad daylight attacking him?
He couldn’t understand any of it.
Meanwhile, for Kim Dalbi, this situation was nothing.
“……”
She just needed to knock out the so-called Bomber and leave.
The villain disguise was merely a precaution. If a student saw her, she would have to switch back to the ‘Kim Yeon-hee’ disguise and leave New Yongsan.
Anyway, Dalbi found it hard to remain calm.
‘It’s a relief that Woo-jin avoided the ambush.’
Dalbi had just let out a sigh of relief.
She didn’t know how Woo-jin had anticipated the bomb. However, she was relieved. If Woo-jin had been hurt in the explosion, she would have felt a heart-wrenching pain.
After confirming Woo-jin was safe, Dalbi immediately waited along Ha-min’s escape route, leading to the current moment.
‘Woo-jin won’t know anything. I need to finish this quickly before he finds out and leave.’
It was unlikely Woo-jin recognized Ha-min’s disguised form. Even though he had shown remarkable ability in quickly dismantling Anomia, it was unrealistic to think he could identify individual villains like Bomber.
So Woo-jin wouldn’t be chasing Ha-min immediately.
If she quickly knocked out Ha-min and fled, she wouldn’t encounter Woo-jin.
Dalbi wanted to see Woo-jin, but she lacked the courage to meet him.
“Goodbye.”
Dalbi greeted with a radiant smile.
Contrasting her lovely smile, veins bulged on her forehead.
She felt like twisting the neck of the man who almost hurt Woo-jin.
“What is this…? Why are you doing this to me?”
Ha-min shouted, leaning against the building wall in distress. His voice was filled with resentment.
“Don’t come closer…! Why are you doing this to me? What grudge do you have…!?”
“We…”
Dalbi’s clear and firm voice cut off Ha-min’s words.
“…need to know our places.”
“……?”
What did she mean by that?
Ha-min didn’t understand.
One thing was clear.
The woman was currently antagonistic toward him.
Like a cornered rat, Ha-min growled.
“What nonsense…!”
At that moment.
“?”
Dalbi sensed a presence other than Ha-min’s and flinched.
She looked up immediately.
Whoosh! In the air, a man in a black uniform was falling, making a sound as he cut through the wind.
Thud!
He landed on the ground, creating a heavy thud and raising a cloud of dust. Instantly, both Dalbi and Ha-min felt a powerful presence.
Their eyes widened in surprise.
Crackle! The black expandable baton in the man’s right hand emitted teal electricity. Through the dust, he glanced sharply at Dalbi and Ha-min.
“…You’re here too.”
It was Ahn Woo-jin, the Disciplinary Committee Leader of Ahsung High School.
He looked at Dalbi and spoke in a calm tone.
