The originally white dumplings quickly turned slightly yellow under the high temperature and starch reaction. This yellow spread from the bottom of the dumplings upward, with the area closest to the pan even showing a slight brown color.

This subtle color didn’t affect the appearance of the dumplings. It even looks like it conveyed a magical message to the outside world: I’m delicious. This color naturally arouses one’s appetite.

Seizing the opportunity, Jiang Qiuqiu added a bowl of starch water, “Adding some starch water can create a snowy crispy bottom for the pan-fried dumplings, making them even more delicious.”

With a flick of her wrist, all the starch water was poured into the pan. White smoke rose from the pan of dumplings, and then, Jiang Qiuqiu covered the pan.
