Chapter 1009 – Chaos Creatures

When Shi Feng entered the crimson space-time passage, he was deeply shocked by what he saw.

He was moving away from the human race’s Greater God’s Domain at an incredible speed. His speed was so fast that the enormous Greater God’s Domain shrank and disappeared in seconds. A few minutes later, he passed by another Greater God’s Domain before it, too, vanished from his sight.

After passing by over a hundred Greater God’s Domains, Shi Feng vaguely saw the end of the crimson space-time passage—a door of unimaginable proportions. Before he could get a better look at the pitch-black door, he was sucked into the portal.

The sound of a system notification rang in Shi Feng’s ears. However, it failed to register in his mind as he gawked at the mind-boggling sight around him.

The crimson space-time passage had left him stranded in a corner of the Void Sea, and everywhere he looked, corpses were floating in the dark void. The sea of corpses stretched as far as he could see, and every one of these corpses radiated a terrifying Divine Might. Despite their apparent age, even the weakest among them still radiated Divine Might rivaling that of Ancient Gods. Some even radiated Divine Might rivaling that of Primordial Gods.

Shi Feng’s mind blanked out as he stared at these floating corpses. He dared not imagine what had transpired here to create such a scene.

Primordial God-ranked existences[1] stood at the very apex of God’s Domain. Even Primordial God-ranked existences would have difficulty killing other Primordial God-ranked existences. Yet, there were countless dead Primordial God-ranked existences in this Void Boundary.

Before Shi Feng could process this situation, the protective blessing Enos had cast on him wore off. Immediately afterward, the boundless Divine Might from these Primordial God-ranked corpses made him feel as if someone had walloped his head with a bat.

Not good! I can’t stay here for much longer! I must leave!

Shi Feng clenched his teeth, fighting to stay conscious as he pulled out the Tier 7 Promotion Land Scroll. Then, he injected 100 million units of Seven Luminaries Crystal into it and teleported to the Primordial Abyssal God’s Tier 7 Promotion Land.

Shortly after Shi Feng turned into a streak of light and traveled to the depths of this void region, he found himself rapidly approaching a gigantic planet. However, a colossal phantom appeared between him and the planet before he could reach the planet. At the same time, he felt as if countless chains had latched on to him and forcibly halted his advance, and all he could do in this situation was watch as the colossal phantom approached him.

After the colossal phantom finished speaking, it injected a line of divine runes into the Taboo Nucleus. A moment later, the Taboo Nucleus transformed into a streak of light and returned to Shi Feng’s bag space. At the same time, Shi Feng was sent plunging into the planet behind the colossal phantom.

As Shi Feng landed in an uncultivated region on the planet, he finally finished processing the colossal phantom’s words and recovered from his shock.

Chaos Creatures? Construct my own World? Shi Feng was at a loss for words as he looked at the Taboo Nucleus in his bag space.

Although the Grand Library had very little information on Chaos Creatures, he had still read about them in the past. They were terrifying creatures that lived in the deepest depths of the Void Sea, and every one of them was strong enough to give Primordial Gods a headache. But now, this Promotion Land required him to steal the strength of a Chaos Creature. This was akin to stroking the whiskers of a tiger.

However, what surprised Shi Feng even more was that to advance to Tier 7, players were required to construct their own Worlds. This was simply demanding the impossible.

Although players could perform Law Projection through the mastery of World Laws, the illusory world created during this process could only be considered a type of Domain. It was nowhere close to being a true World.

A true World would be akin to one of the many worlds found in God’s Domain—composed of a complete set of functioning World Laws. If a player wished to create such a World, they’d have to grasp every World Law in existence, which simply wasn’t a feat mortals could accomplish.

No wonder all those sixth-floor experts back then failed to reach Tier 7. The difficulty is ridiculous. After learning about the requirement for reaching Tier 7, Shi Feng suddenly understood why even the Three Absolutes had failed to advance to Tier 7 in his previous life.

In the human race’s Greater God’s Domain, most chosen ones nurtured by the various powers would need to undergo many challenges just to master one World Law. As for the old monsters who were several centuries old, most would have only mastered a few Basic Laws and combined them into an Advanced Law; they were still far from constructing a World of their own.

Fortunately, the Main God System didn’t deprive players of all possibilities to reach Tier 7. Players could still create their World by replicating the Worlds of Chaos Creatures. It would be similar to copying a magic array, only thousands of times more complicated. Even so, this was still a chance for players to advance to Tier 7, and it was infinitely easier than creating a World from scratch.

The only problem was finding a compatible World. After all, while actual, functioning worlds had complete sets of World Laws, the composition of World Laws wasn’t necessarily the same for every world. For example, some miniature worlds could have World Laws skewed toward a particular element, causing them to be icy cold or scorching hot all year round.

If players could find a World with World Laws skewed toward those they were proficient in, they would undoubtedly have an easier time replicating it.

Thankfully, there are over 5,000 Chaos Creatures in this Promotion Land. I wasn’t given a time limit, either. Otherwise, I really would have no chance. When Shi Feng recalled the colossal phantom mentioning how many Chaos Creatures resided in this Promotion Land, he couldn’t help but celebrate his decision to accept Enos’s offer.

Had he chosen other Promotion Lands, he would undoubtedly have far fewer Chaos Creatures to choose from. Even if he were to use up his Inferior Divine Tier 7 Promotion Land Scroll’s two attempts, he doubted he could find a Promotion Land as good as this one.

While Shi Feng pondered how to find a Chaos Creature, the land under him suddenly shook. Before he could react, a two-headed crocodile over a thousand meters long emerged from the ground near him, exuding an aura that was much stronger than even that of the Undying Mother.
