Chapter 1011 – Advanced World

A powerful howl echoed across the Northern Plain’s outskirts. The howl came from a giant wolf over 1,500 meters tall as it glared vigilantly at the woman approaching it with a greatsword in hand.

The giant wolf’s vigilance increased with each step this greatsword-wielding woman took. When this woman came within a hundred yards of it, the giant wolf lunged forward and bit down on the figure. In response, the woman raised her greatsword to meet the attack.

After a brief collision between the giant wolf’s fangs and the woman’s greatsword, the giant wolf was forced three steps back, while the woman regained her footing after taking only one step back. Immediately afterward, she lunged at the giant wolf, her greatsword poised for attack.

After several dozen exchanges between the two, the giant wolf let out a frustrated howl before turning around and fleeing the Northern Plain, abandoning its fight with the greatsword-wielding woman.

This Promotion Land is absurdly massive. It’s almost as large as the average God’s Domain. I didn’t think it would take a day of travel just to reach the Promotion Land’s core area. Hopefully, there is a powerful Chaos Creature whose World suits me, Shi Feng thought, glancing at the fleeing Chaos Frostwolf before quickly shifting his focus to a distant mountain range.

After repairing the Feather of Oath, Shi Feng felt that completing his Tier 7 promotion with just an ordinary Chaos Creature’s World would be a waste. Hence, he decided to aim for the powerful Chaos Creatures residing in the Promotion Land’s core area.

According to the colossal phantom, the stronger the Chaos Creature, the stronger their World would be. Going by this logic, when players were advancing to Tier 7, the stronger the World they created for themselves, the stronger they would be at Tier 7.

With the Level 259 War Goddesses being able to easily suppress ordinary Chaos Creatures, Shi Feng would have a much easier time completing his Tier 7 promotion if he only targeted ordinary Chaos Creatures. But in that case, should he encounter other Tier 7 players in the future, he wouldn’t have any obvious advantages over them.

On the other hand, if he were to replicate a powerful Chaos Creature’s World, he would be able to manipulate a lot more World Power. This would give him an advantage over the average Tier 7 player.

After traveling across the Promotion Land for the past day, Shi Feng realized that his time here was limited.

Due to the presence of many Chaos Creatures, Chaos Energy filled the entire Promotion Land. This Chaos Energy continuously eroded the energy of players, and how long a player could survive in this Promotion Land depended entirely on their Divine Body.

The stronger a player’s Divine Body, the denser their Mana would be and the longer they could resist the erosion of Chaos Energy. At the current rate his Mana was being eroded, Shi Feng estimated that players with a Gold Divine Body could only last a day here, while players with an Epic Divine Body could last two days and players with a Legendary Divine Body could last three days.

Shi Feng should have no trouble lasting a week with his Legendary-ranked Superior Divine Body. This was also why he dared to challenge the core area’s powerful Chaos Creatures. Although the core area was massive, six days should be enough for him to find a powerful Chaos Creature that suited him.

About twenty minutes after Shi Feng and the greatsword-wielding War Goddess started making their way toward the mountain range, a series of roars came from the mountain range. The roars sounded different, apparently coming from different Chaos Creatures. Moreover, these roars were so powerful that they flattened the peaks of the mountains at the edge of the mountain range.

What’s going on? What rank of monsters are fighting here? Shi Feng stared at the flattened mountaintops, stunned.

If the roars of these Chaos Creatures alone could flatten the peaks of the nearby mountains, they were unlikely to be ordinary Chaos Creatures.

Before Shi Feng could recover from his shock, 15 Chaos Creatures rushed out of the mountain range, their massive frames—over 2,000 meters in height—devastating the land and mountains they crossed. After making their exit, these 15 Chaos Creatures turned around to glare at a five-headed dragon standing at the edge of the mountain range.

The five-headed dragon was covered in pitch-black scales and had black electric arcs flowing all over its body. Two of its heads were missing, torn from its body along with the necks connecting them. As for its three remaining heads, one had its fangs clamped down on the flaming lion stomped under its feet, while the other two glared at the 15 Chaos Creatures outside the mountain range.

Initially, the 15 Chaos Creatures still desired to continue their fight with the five-headed dragon. However, they all froze in place when they sensed their Basic Attributes decreasing gradually.

“Is this…an Advanced World?” Shi Feng focused on the five-headed dragon after he saw the decreasing Basic Attributes of the other Chaos Creatures. “A powerful Chaos Creature that has grasped an Advanced World?”

In the Primordial Abyssal God’s Promotion Land, ordinary Chaos Creatures had their strength suppressed to a point where they could only maintain a height of 1,000 to 2,000 meters. Seeing as the 15 Chaos Creatures surrounding the Five-Headed Chaos Dragon were over 2,000 meters tall, they should all be powerful Chaos Creatures.

Yet, the Five-Headed Chaos Dragon had suppressed the Basic Attributes of these powerful Chaos Creatures with its World Power alone. Besides an Advanced World’s World Power, Shi Feng couldn’t think of any other possibility to explain this situation. However, under normal circumstances, only top-tier Chaos Creatures should be able to grasp an Advanced World.

As the Five-Headed Chaos Dragon’s size did not exceed that of the 15 Chaos Creatures around it by much, it obviously still fell under the category of powerful Chaos Creatures. Yet, it had already grasped an Advanced World. This was simply unbelievable.

While Shi Feng marveled at the Five-Headed Chaos Dragon’s Advanced World, the 15 Chaos Creatures realized they were no match for their adversary. Despite their reluctance, they ultimately decided to flee and abandon their territory.

Could this be my chance? As Shi Feng looked at the injured Five-Headed Chaos Dragon and the fleeing powerful Chaos Creatures, hesitancy flashed in his eyes. A moment later, he gritted his teeth and summoned 11 more War Goddesses, saying, “To hell with it! Attack!”

Advanced Worlds were normally exclusive to top-tier Chaos Creatures. Before this encounter, he never dared to consider replicating an Advanced World. But now, the injured Five-Headed Chaos Dragon presented him with this opportunity. Although the Five-Headed Chaos Dragon’s Advanced World likely allowed it to exhibit strength greater than that of the average powerful Chaos Creature, he should still have a chance of success with the complete Feather of Oath.
