Chapter 135: Queen: Refusal of Post- Marriage Cohabitation

After a round, Rosvitha sat on the desk, her nightdress draped casually over her body, thin straps dangling, her fragrant shoulders enticing. She lowered her gaze to her tail tip, her brows involuntarily furrowing slightly.

But soon she snorted coldly, deciding to make Leon play the “foot-washing slave” again later.

With that in mind, Rosvitha looked up at Leon in front of her. The dragon slayer had his hands on the chair’s armrests, staring blankly at the ceiling, as if contemplating life.

The queen’s mind stirred slightly, then she slowly raised her exquisite fair foot, lightly stepping on the dragon tattoo on Leon’s chest. The resonance of the dragon tattoo gradually faded, seemingly leaving behind a few faint arcs of blue light.

Rosvitha raised an eyebrow. “What’s that?”

“What?”

“The light on the dragon tattoo,” Rosvitha pointed her chin towards his chest. “Why is it blue?”

Leon glanced down, reaching out to grasp Rosvitha’s delicate ankle, removing her tender foot from his chest. Sure enough, the dragon tattoo faintly shimmered with blue light, but it quickly extinguished.

Rosvitha wrested her foot from his grasp, placing it back on his chest. “You don’t know either?”

Leon pursed his lips, knowing full well what it was. It was the magic he had been containing within the dragon tattoo for the past few days.

After some experimentation, the combination of this magic with the characteristics of the dragon tattoo caused the phenomenon of blue light flickering.

And Leon speculated that regardless of the method, as long as there was involvement of the dragon tattoo, the magic he “contributed” to it would be consumed.

Leon tried to sense it, and indeed, his power had decreased somewhat, but thankfully not entirely. This brought a slight sense of balance to Leon’s heart.

“Perhaps it lost control again, didn’t it also lose control once at the hot spring last time?” Leon offered a seemingly plausible explanation.

Rosvitha nodded thoughtfully, “Is that so… But this time’s loss of control seems quite good.”

Leon was puzzled, “Good?”

“Yes, even though it didn’t follow the rules as before, just using the tail, theoretically, there shouldn’t have been much sensation.”

Rosvitha reminisced about the process just now and then said, “But I feel… quite good, numb, tingly, hmm, comfortable.”

Leon gave her a sidelong glance.

Mother Dragon, do you know why you feel this way?

Because it’s filled with noble lightning elemental magic!

Otherwise, how could just a small dragon tattoo make you feel that way?

Dream on.

Rosvitha bit her lip, her warm sole slowly tracing down Leon’s chest. When it reached his abdomen, Leon promptly grabbed her ankle. “What are you doing?”

Rosvitha tilted her head slightly, playfully asking, “You intrude into my boudoir in the middle of the night, don’t you think one punishment is enough?”

Because the method just now was simple and not a complete set of procedures like before, the couple still had a lot of energy left.

And obviously, whether it was to punish Leon or for some other reason, Rosvitha was still somewhat unsatisfied, so she wanted a second round. This time, she intended to use [censored].

Leon thought to himself that he couldn’t afford to come again. He had finally saved up some magical energy; he needed to use it in the right place!

“Enough, Mother Dragon. You’re pregnant now,” Leon brought up the pregnancy, attempting to suppress Rosvitha.

Rosvitha leaned back slightly, supporting herself with her hands. “So what if I’m pregnant? I didn’t force you to come to bed with me.”

Leon’s eyes flickered, and he immediately retorted, “What I mean is, it’s almost four in the morning now, pregnant women shouldn’t stay up late.”

This excuse was quite good; Rosvitha had no immediate reason to refute. But she still didn’t plan to let Leon off easily.

“We don’t have to continue, but you have to tell me, what were you coming to my room for in the first place?”

The question circled back to the beginning. Leon realized that if he didn’t come up with a perfect excuse today, Rosvitha wouldn’t let him leave.

After thinking it over, Leon decided to play the “family card” — even though he had no familial bond with this dragoness. But when you had no other cards to play, sentimentality was always a good choice.

“I was… worried about you, so I wanted to see if you were sleeping well,” Leon gazed into Rosvitha’s eyes, affectionate.

Rosvitha was taken aback, “Worried about me?”

“Yes, you’re pregnant now, your body often feels uncomfortable. Although we usually can’t stand each other, I can still see the bigger picture. Now you’re the most important one in our family, so we can put aside our grievances for the time being.”

In just a few sentences, Leon packaged himself as a high-quality, forgiving human male. Little did he know, he was about to melt Rosvitha’s heart.

Rosvitha covered her mouth with both hands, staring at Leon in a daze, her silver eyes trembling slightly as if she had something to say.

Seeing her reaction, Leon knew his hastily concocted excuse had worked. So he seized the opportunity and continued, “I know you must feel the same way, right? Hey, we’re actually quite similar.

We both love this family, and now, I’ve just shifted my concern for this family onto you, Rosvitha. I care about you.”

“Leon…” She still covered her mouth, her voice muffled.

“Yes?”

Is she getting moved? Is she about to shed a tear? Please don’t cry, or else—

“I’m going to throw up,” Rosvitha said.

“…Morning sickness?” Leon asked.

“No, I’m about to throw up because you’re gross.”

Rosvitha closed her eyes, swallowed hard, then breathed a sigh of relief, her expression softening slightly. “Phew… okay, continue.”

“…Wait, what?”

What’s wrong, Mother Dragon? Is the high-quality human male not affecting you at all? Is your heart made of granite? No feelings whatsoever?

Oh… Leon realized. She’s a dragon, after all. High-quality humans aren’t really her thing.

Rosvitha tilted her head slightly, enjoying Leon’s helpless expression, and smiled. “Do you… really care about me?”

Leon blinked, sensing trouble ahead. “Um… well, actually, it’s not like I care that much… It’s definitely not as much as you think.”

“Hmph, if you don’t care that much about me, then sneaking into my room is a serious offense,” Rosvitha said, leisurely leading him in circles.

“…Caring about you, isn’t that enough?”

“How much do you care?”

“Do you have to dwell on this?”

Rosvitha had already seen through Leon’s little scheme, hence why she was now questioning him like a little girl asking, “Do you really love me?”

Leon naturally caught onto this, so he decided not to respond further.

Rosvitha gave a faint smile, then removed her foot from Leon’s abdomen. Soon, her tone turned serious.

“Leon, I’m lifting the ban on you now. You’re allowed to come and go freely in the Silver Dragon Temple, even in my room. But that doesn’t mean you can sneak into my room in the middle of the night. Understand?”

Leon raised his hands in surrender. “Punish me if you want, I’ll comply.”

Caught red-handed for misdeeds, Leon had nothing more to say. No matter how stubborn he was, he couldn’t ignore the objective truth.

“Hmph, punish you? I’ll have plenty of opportunities for that in the future,” Rosvitha said.

She hopped off the desk, adjusted the straps of her nightdress, then walked up to Leon, bent down, and poked his chest with her index finger.

“From now on, you’ll sleep in your own room like a good boy. If it’s past seven in the evening, you’re not allowed to be in my bedroom. Otherwise… you know what I’ll do, right, dear captive Mr.?”
