( Max and Kremeth Jr's POV )
There was awkward silence between the father and the teenage son as they sat inside a cramped space transport vessel.
The two of them were headed to planet Radiance, however, Max did not want them to use the direct teleportation method and instead teach Kremeth about how commoners lived their life.
Using the teleportation centre cost an average citizen 1 gold coin to teleport from Dombivli to Radiance and even more if one wanted to travel from the Rajput Capital which was practically impossible to do since the Rajput Capital was a private teleportation gate.
The salary of an average soldier in the Bloodfall army was around 25 gold coins when they were not in deployment and spending 2 gold coins for one way teleportation was not something most of those soldiers could afford.
Hence, although merchant transporter ships took much more time and were uncomfortable, since they only took a fee of 2 silver coins/ passenger, many preferred to travel using merchant ships.
Kremeth had personally never travelled in merchant ships, he was not so young that a new mode of travel would fascinate him and moreover he disliked this arrangement as a whole, however, could not complain about it even a bit since his father was suffering alongside him.
To make matters worse, Max had set four rules for Kremeth before they headed out on this trip, with the rules being :-
•For the next few months you must never reveal your true name.
•For the next few months you must learn to live as a commoner.
•For the next few months you can only eat what you can afford.
•For the next few months you will show me that you are capable of taking down a tier6 warrior as a tier5 enhanced vampire.
So now he was Kris alongside his father Maximus, who were two poor soldiers from the Bloodfall army.
' Poor soldiers my ass-, just look around us dad? This entire ship is jam packed, yet because of your size and muscles, the only seating row that's empty is ours' Kremeth thought as he found Max's aura to be too outstanding to be concealed as a commoner.
Over 10 passengers had came up to him to enquire about his job since the journey started, yet the supreme lord of the universe kept trying his best to deceive commoners by claiming to be an average soldier.
Ever since the journey started four hours ago, the only conversation that Max had with Kremeth was a single line.
" Do you want water?" He asked to which Kremeth replied "No".
The only conversation the two had was about water since apparently Max was being considerate that Kremeth was a mortal who needed to be hydrated while he couldn't care less about such stuff.
' How much longer must I suffer? What sort of training is this?' Kremeth wondered when suddenly the alarms on the ship started to blare as a merchant suddenly rushed into the passenger area shouting " PIRATES! SPACE PIRATES! AGHHHHH"
Panic ensued upon the ship as an arrow impaled the skull of the merchant trying to raise alarms as his sudden death made the situation even worse.
' Fuck, fuck, fuck! Don't they know that this ship flies under the Vampire Flag? Who dares to be so bold to attack the ship of King Max?'
' Die - we're all going to die! They shall kill us all and loot our corpse'
' Die? You men will die! Us women will be raped and sold as slaves, that's worse than dying'
' Sir! My good sir! You're a soldier in the vampire army! Can you please contact a nearby patrol ship? Can you please inform a superior about our peril?' asked a random passenger, as Max shook his head and said that he doesn't have a communication crystal on him.
" EVERYONE SHUT UP AND TAKE YOUR SEAT BEFORE I FUCKING KILL ALL OF YE" Suddenly a shrill voice shouted as a woman with a bow and a quiver of arrows slung around her back walked into the room.
" You- Who are you? Why can't I read your level?" The Archer said, pointing towards Kremeth who seemed to be fuming under his breath, that a vampire ship had been attacked.
[ Patrivia ] ( Half- Elf ) ( Tier3 )
Kremeth read her stats and decided that she should be easy enough to chop down as he glared at her and said " Who am I? Oh I'll show you who I am right now- "
He felt completely charged up and was ready to pull out his sword when suddenly a chop came flying down on his neck as he was instantly knocked out cold.
The last scene he saw before being knocked out cold was the half-smirk on his father's face as he thought ' That damn geezer' before passing out cold.
" Apologies my lady, my son is a bit hotheaded" Max said as the half elf voraciously licked her lips and moved over to where Max was seated.
Slowly running her hands over Max's massive biceps she copped a feel of his muscles before suddenly grabbing him by the chin as she stared into his eyes.
" Such a pretty face….. I'll have you for dinner tonight….grrrr" she said as she fake bit Max's nose before letting him go.
" Tie them all up and send them to the branded, we shall sell them all off as slaves" said Patrivia as she left the room only for weaker tier2 individuals to enter and tying everyone up using ropes.
Max had set his own visibility to [ Maximus ] [ Modern Vampire ] [ Tier2 ] so that he would appear as a harmless threat, however, he was anything but harmless.
He wanted to use this chance to see which entity had the balls to go against the vampire kingdom while also creating a more difficult challenge for Kremeth to overcome.
Since this was nothing more than a game for him anyways, Max decided to play along and have some fun due to this unexpected development.

( Meanwhile Rudra )
Rudra visited the cliff of the sword saint within the celestial realm and from the second he set foot on his cliff, the sword saint set a flurry of sword qi attacks towards him which Rudra expertly deflected using nothing but his bare palms.
" Your understanding of the sword is profuse" A deep male voice boomed as an old geezer with small eyes and a beard that was as long as his entire stature, walked out of the shadows.
" Oh well, I dabble in the sword path" Rudra admitted as the sword saint grunted at his response.
" Cocky….. cocky like all the rest of them, well let me shrink you to size" he said as he drew his long sword and rushed towards Rudra.
Immediately Rudra also brought out Grim Reaper and Excalibur as he blocked the sword saint's first strike using both his swords.
*KABOOM*
The rock from under his feet cracked as the intense sword intent radiating from his opponent caused the ground beneath them to shake and tremble.
" Weak-" Rudra said as he pushed back against the sword strike and forcibly pushed the sword saint backwards, much to the saint's surprise.
What followed was the typical Shakuni barrage as he attacked the sword saint from multiple angles, using tricks such as [ Omniscient Future Sight ] and [ Blink ] to confuse the fuck out of his opponent.
From start to finish, the battle lasted only fifty seconds, but by the end of it Rudra stood tall over the Sword Saint's body with both his swords pointing at his chest as the sword saint's fabled sword lay flat on the ground a few metres away.
" I lost…." He said with disbelief evident in his voice as this was the first time that he was ever beaten in swordsmanship and that too by an opponent not named the perfect warrior.
" Hahaha, I won?" Rudra questioned as after suffering such humiliating defeats from the hands of the perfect warrior again and again, he had almost forgotten what it was like to be dominant in a tough fight.
Nonetheless, this victory felt extremely sweet to him as he retrieved the sword saint's sword and sat on the ground beside him.
" Here, you look incomplete without it" Rudra offered as the sword saint accepted it graciously.
" Thankyou-" he said as he began stroking his beard and smiling about something unknown.
" The attack sequence that you just broke today, it's called [ Death sequence ] it's a twelve step move that's impossible to evade in the eleventh and twelfth step.
In the eleventh step I impale your heart, in the twelfth I take your head.
Against the perfect warrior I'm never able to go past the fifth, but you are the first one who actually found a way to counter my steps through something as simple as teleportation.
It was as if you already knew what the steps were going to be and created an opening where you had enough time to teleport, catching me off-guard and defeating me.... I commend you-" he said as Rudra chuckled heartily at this evaluation.
In reality Rudra had already died to the death sequence twice in his future sight, however, in the third try he found a way to break it, but he could only make it work because he had superior stats compared to the sword saint at the same tier.
If the sword saint was 15% faster, he would not have the opening that he wanted and would most likely die to the death sequence.
" You're a formidable warrior, I will listen to the request that you come bearing-" The sword saint said as Rudra smiled and began explaining his request.
The request to create the perfect sword move!
