Chapter 1634 Table of contents

After Tian Yi left home to gain experience in the Primal Expanse, the Primal Monarch secretly followed him, having nothing better to do. Of course, since this was Tian Yi's first time exploring alone, he also felt a little worried for him.

However, the Primal Monarch's worries were quickly relieved once he saw how quickly Tian Yi adapted to the Primal Expanse.

While his cultivation as a Bronze Immortal was respectable in the Primal Expanse, it was far from sufficient for him to be reckless and careless. Tian Yi didn't have any big ambitions and wanted to complete his Chaotic Heart as soon as possible, which he set as his primary goal.

He traversed the Primal Expanse in search of treasures, dominating nearly every territory he encountered.

Tian Yi's presence quickly spread throughout the Primal Expanse like wildfire, and within a few years, nearly every powerhouse there had heard of the human causing havoc in their territories.

"A human who can cultivate and use his powers? Bullshit! There's no way such a human exists!"

"What? This human has a Chaotic Heart? Are you sure he's really human and not just a Predator in disguise?"

Most of the powerhouses refused to believe that a human could create such chaos in their world, especially when every human before him had been unable to adapt to their Chaotic Essence.

However, some had their interest piqued and left their territories to seek out this human they had been hearing so much about.

After another decade, it was all but confirmed that Tian Yi was real, and he was growing at such a tremendous rate that he could pose a threat to even the powerhouses in the Primal Expanse if given a few more decades.

Tian Yi quickly became a presence that could not be ignored, prompting Predators across the Primal Expanse to attempt to either tame or kill him. However, every failed attempt only made Tian Yi stronger. Eventually, Tian Yi became so powerful that it took several powerhouses just to face him on equal footing.

"Fuck! Where's the Primal Monarch?! Why isn't he doing anything about this human when his world is being flipped upside down?!"

The natives of the Primal Expanse were puzzled by the Primal Monarch's silence. Normally, whenever a situation threatened the balance of the world or someone caused excessive chaos, the Primal Monarch would intervene.

Yet, he was nowhere to be seen. This made some wonder if something had happened to the Primal Monarch. However, after a hundred years had passed since Tian Yi first appeared in the Primal Expanse, he vanished as suddenly as he had arrived.

Unbeknownst to the natives, Tian Yi had returned to the Primal Monarch's home.

"How was your experience in the outside world?" the Primal Monarch asked upon Tian Yi's return, pretending as if he hadn't been watching him the entire time.

"It was a little scary at first with the amount of beasts trying to kill me, but once I got used to it, it was pretty fun." Tian Yi laughed out loud.

"Is that so? Let's see how many Chaotic Hearts you've managed to form in the last 100 years…"

After a quick examination, the Primal Monarch was surprised to sense four Chaotic Hearts within Tian Yi's body.

"Four Chaotic Hearts in a hundred years, huh? Not bad, considering that even the strongest Predators in the Primal Expanse only have six after millions of years." Not only did Tian Yi acquire 4 Chaotic Hearts, but his cultivation even reached Golden Immortal in a hundred years.

"What should I do now? I have done pretty much everything there is to do in this world—not that there is much to do in the first place."

"Well, do you have any interest in owning your own territory?" The Primal Monarch asked.

"Not really. I just don't see the appeal of owning a territory."

"Unfortunately, there isn't much for you to do in this world. In the first place, the Primal Expanse wasn't created for humans. As for the rest of us, we live to increase our strength and expand our territories. We thrive off growth and preying on the weak."

"If there's nothing to do, I can simply create my own entertainment. For example, I can bring human entertainment into this world." Tian Yi suggested.

However, the Primal Monarch shook his head and said, "That won't work. What you humans find entertaining is meaningless to us. Just as owning territories holds no appeal for you, we find human culture dull and uninteresting."

Tian Yi sighed, "This is why I didn't mind remaining as a mortal and living only a hundred years."

The Primal Monarch fell silent for several moments before asking, "Have you ever thought about returning to your home—the human world?"

Tian Yi looked at the sky and responded in an oddly calm tone, "I have. Many times, in fact. However, even if I were to go back, I wouldn't know what to do. Furthermore…"

He looked at the Primal Monarch directly in the eyes and continued, "Although I was born in the human world, I grew up in this world, and my family is also here, so this world is my home."

The Primal Monarch laughed out loud and said, "That's heartwarming and all, but you don't belong here. Now that you're all grown up and have the power to survive without my help, I think you should go back to the human world."

"You seem eager to send me away. Why?" Tian Yi noticed this and inquired with a deep frown, feeling like he was being abandoned by his family for a second time.

The Primal Monarch shook his head and said, "This world is more complex than it appears. Also, there's nothing left for me to teach you, and unless you want to die of boredom in this world or spend the rest of your life fighting the natives of this world, it only makes sense for you to return to your original world."

"In the first place, I never expected you to remain in this world by my side forever. I took you in and helped you grow so that you could one day return to your world and become living proof that this 'Heaven' isn't omnipotent and its will could be defied."

"..."

Tian Yi was speechless, unsure of how to respond.
