<Author’s Notes>

I got home late, so today’s chapter is short.

After having a light chat with Life-san and Elune-san, I arrived at Fate-san’s temple as initially planned. Since I don’t have any more plans for today, I think I can relax and take it easy.

However, I haven’t checked Fate-san’s schedule, but she…… probably isn’t busy or anything…… right?

[Arehh? Kai-chan, what’s up? You came to see me?]

When I arrived at the entrance of the temple, Fate-san, having sensed my presence, came out to greet me. She was still sitting on a cushion with her usual relaxed smile, but she seemed a bit excited, so it looked like she’s happy about my visit.

[Yes, I came to the God Realm for some errands, and since I was already here, I thought I’d stop by to greet Chronois-san, Life-san, and you. I’ve already visited Chronois-san and Life-san, and since I have no more plans for today, if it’s convenient for you, thinking it would be great if we could hang out together, I came to visit.]

[O- Ohh…… That sounds great! I very much welcome that! Now, now, come on in.]

[Well then, if you’ll excuse me.]

Upon hearing my words, Fate-san’s face lit up with a bright smile, and she happily invited me into the temple. As we moved inside the temple though, Fate-san suddenly stopped.

[Fate-san?]

[Ah~~ Sorry, Kai-chan, could you wait for just 1-2 minutes?]

[Eh? Yes, alright.]

After notifying me for a bit, Fate-san got off her floating cushion and went into a nearby room. The door wasn’t closed, so I could hear the conversation.

[……God of Fate-sama?]

[Pass me all the workload I have…… Unn…… There, done. Well then, have these delivered to God of Time and Space, and since I already did my work today, I’m spending time with Kai-chan now. I absolutely won’t accept any additional work or anything like that, and if anyone disturbs me, I’ll be really mad.]

[Y- Yes, understood. Please enjoy your time.]

[Unn, thanks~~]

Hearing this, Fate-san came out of the room, closed the door, relaxed the serious expression she had on her face, and then jumped on me.

[Kai-chaaaaan!]

[Whoa there……]

I hurriedly caught her, but since I hardly felt any weight, it seemed she was floating to make it easier for me to catch her.

Fate-san hugged me tightly, nuzzled her cheek against my chest, and spoke in a sweet, affectionate voice.

[I did my job properly~~ Praise me, praise me~~]

[Ahaha…… It really is amazing. You finished them in no time at all. Fate-san has always been incredible, but you did a great job handling everything there.]

[Ehehe~~]

For the time being, I patted Fate-san’s head while responding to her request for praise, and she smiled happily with a relaxed expression. She had a very cute, affectionate vibe, almost like a cat seeking attention.

Just like that, for a little while, I continued to gently hug her and pat her head until she seemed satisfied.
