*BOOM!*

Alfarion Empire's GG Guild Master, *WeGotMarried*, unleashed a powerful punch into the side of the *Green Dragon*, the World Boss.

*WHOOSH!*

Immediately, the dragon responded with a tail swipe, a quick movement that didn’t seem fitting for such a massive creature. Its attack swept across the entire battlefield.

*TAT!*

WeGotMarried skillfully dodged backward using an invulnerability skill, gaining distance from the dragon.

*BAM BAM BAM!*

"Ugh!"

"Argh!"

Dozens of players gathered near the Green Dragon were flung in all directions. It was quite a spectacle, though it would’ve been more amusing if they weren’t all members of the *Alfarion Empire*.

WeGotMarried frowned in frustration.

“Damn, so many players trying to leech off our raid. These Betarion Empire guys should just stick to their own territory.”

Not all the Alfarion Empire players gathered in the *Verbeia Forest* were part of the GG Guild Alliance.

The GG Guild Alliance currently consisted of *White Bone Clan*, *No Mercy*, and *Red and White Guild*, which was leading the World Boss raid.

While most of the Alfarion Empire players present in Verbeia Forest were part of the GG Alliance, a significant number of independent players were also trying to participate.

Of course, you couldn’t blame the independent players. They, too, wanted a piece of the rewards from the World Boss raid.

However, if they died and were forced out of the battlefield, all their efforts would be for nothing.

The real difficulty in this first World Boss raid wasn’t just the Green Dragon’s devastating patterns.

It was the nature of the *Faction Battlefield*.

Inside the battlefield, you couldn’t change your gear setup.

And if you died, you’d face a penalty cooldown before being able to re-enter.

Both PVE players, who focused on raiding, and PVP players, who needed to defend against the opposing faction, were essential.

Even if the PVE players managed to make progress in the raid, if their faction lost the war, all their efforts would end up benefiting the Betarion Empire.

“We need cooperation between the PVE and PVP players to bring this thing down.”

No matter how much damage GG Guild’s PVP-focused players dealt to the dragon, it would amount to nothing without proper raid coordination.

Ultimately, *Red and White Guild*, with their PVE setups, would need to take down the World Boss.

WeGotMarried scanned the battlefield.

*BOOM BOOM BOOM!*

[Iron Golem]
[HP: 27,720,505 / 50,000,000]

The core members of Red and White Guild were focusing their attacks on one of the Guardians.

With their PVE builds, they were far more effective, rapidly whittling down the Guardian’s HP compared to the GG Guild members with their PVP gear.

*BOOM!*

*DeathMaster*, the martial artist tanking the Guardian, deftly avoided its brutal attacks and launched precise counterattacks, keeping up his offensive momentum.

“Is that *DeathMaster*, ranked number one in the arena?”

DeathMaster, the tank for *Chris’s Raid Team*, was not only a veteran of numerous first dungeon clears but also the undefeated champion of 1v1 arena matches. Even WeGotMarried, a top-tier arena player himself, had to admit DeathMaster was a cut above.

It was strange to see someone of DeathMaster's caliber tanking the Guardian instead of the Green Dragon itself.

But when WeGotMarried saw the flashes of white darting around the Green Dragon’s massive form, he understood why.

He clicked his tongue in disbelief.

“Is that even something a player can do?”

*SWISH!*

The Green Dragon's enormous forepaw slammed down toward the small, white-clad figure.

*SWOOSH.*

*BOOM!*

With a slight movement, the girl left an afterimage as she dodged, the dragon’s paw slamming into the ground where she had just been. The impact shook the earth.

This wasn’t an invulnerability skill. She had dodged purely through physical movement, avoiding the monstrous attack.

Around her, starlight seemed to shimmer as her sword traced beautiful arcs in the air.

*BAM BAM BAM!*

The Green Dragon roared in fury, repeatedly slamming its forepaws toward the girl. But each time, she evaded, continuously striking the dragon’s legs.

The dragon’s bloodshot eyes locked onto the white-haired girl, furious. Her constant damage had secured its aggro.

*STOMP, STOMP, STOMP!*

The dragon began stomping its hind legs, trying to shake off the players clinging to its back. Several players were thrown off, but Red and White Guild’s main force remained focused on the Guardian.

Thanks to the main tank’s positioning, the rest of the players only had to deal with tail swipes and stomping attacks.

The girl seemed to perfectly distinguish between attacks she needed to dodge, those she could parry, and those she had to block using invulnerability.

*WOOOOSH!*

The dragon’s massive forepaw swept across a 180-degree arc, aimed directly at her.

This was the pattern that had caused so many failed attempts in previous raids.

A tank or martial artist might be able to block it, but the force would still knock them back, and if the tank's position shifted, it would endanger the damage dealers.

Then came the 360-degree tail swipe. Even if it didn’t kill the tank, it would knock them back, leaving the DPS unprotected for follow-up attacks.

The long-range players equipped with raid-wide protection skills were all focused on the Guardian. Their shields wouldn’t reach the main tank far in front of the Green Dragon.

WeGotMarried, who had momentarily forgotten about the battlefield around him, was now entirely focused on the girl’s movements.

*SWISH!*

As the dragon’s forepaw came within a hair’s breadth of her, the girl disappeared in a flash, reappearing in her original position a split second later.

WeGotMarried’s mouth fell open.

“A counterattack?”

She had used the dragon’s paw as a target, timing her counter perfectly as the attack came within inches of her. The window to land that counter was less than 0.1 seconds.

Unlike other raid teams that relied on protective barriers for the main tank, she was handling it all alone, purely through skill and reflexes.

*WHOOSH!*

Next came the tail swipe. The other raid members, protected by their party’s shields, avoided damage, while the girl dodged with a simple backward step.

*KAAAAAANG!*

The dragon’s forepaw scraped across the ground, rising swiftly toward the girl.

If she blocked this, she would be sent flying into the air.

She had already used both her counter and dodge skills.

How would she respond?

*KRAAANG!*

She blocked the attack, but as expected, her body was launched into the air. Her small, white figure floated helplessly in the sky.

*CRUNCH.*

The Green Dragon opened its massive jaws, ready to swallow her whole.

This was dangerous.

WeGotMarried almost shouted in alarm.

Was it impossible without the raid’s protection?

The girl spun mid-air.

*FLASH!*

In a blinding burst of light, she drove her sword into the edge of the dragon’s gaping maw, slashing its throat with a long, precise cut.

*KAAAAA—!!!*

For the first time, the Green Dragon let out a roar of pain.

*THUD.*

At the same time, the Guardian Golem that Red and White Guild had been focusing on finally collapsed.

The girl had essentially held the Green Dragon at bay all by herself until her guildmates defeated the Guardian.

WeGotMarried snapped out of his trance.

He wasn’t the only one who had been mesmerized by the girl’s movements.

Even the main force of GG Guild had been watching her in awe, their hands clenched in nervous anticipation.

“Betarion Empire forces are entering the forest!”

The report shook WeGotMarried back into action.

“Alright, listen up, GG Guild main force! Make sure Plan B doesn’t get anywhere near this place!”

They had to protect *Red and White Guild*.

With that white-haired girl as their main tank, they had the ability to clear the World Boss.

While some independent players were still alive, most of them wouldn’t survive the next breath phase.

GG Guild would hold off the Betarion Empire and *Plan B*.

Red and White Guild would take down the Green Dragon.

Leaving a quick nod to Chris, the raid leader, WeGotMarried withdrew from the frontlines alongside his guild members.

---

*KAAAAAA—!!*

Even from the outer edges of Verbeia Forest, the Green Dragon’s roars echoed ominously.

*TATATAT!*

GG Guild’s main force raced toward the direction where the report had come from: Plan B’s main forces were making their move.

Betarion Empire players, now regrouped and rearmed with PVP gear, were re-entering the forest.

If they reached the Green Dragon, Red and White Guild, equipped with PVE gear, would struggle to continue the raid.

And the figure WeGotMarried had been waiting for finally appeared.

*Kekekeke!*

A mocking laugh preceded the appearance of Plan B’s Guild Master, *Stonewall Cho Hyunsu*.

Having switched into PVP gear, the raid leader turned warlord was now fully prepared to hunt down players.

He glared at WeGotMarried with a sneer, to which WeGotMarried responded with a confident grin.

“Stonewall Cho Hyunsu, you’ll never reach the

 Green Dragon.”

“Keke, once we wipe out your raid, we’ll take our time locking down the forest. After that, pushing you out won’t be difficult.”

“Oh, is that so? We’re going to kill the Green Dragon in this raid, no matter what.”

Cho Hyunsu’s expression twisted in disbelief.

“What nonsense—never mind. First, I’ll take care of you GG Guild fools.”

At Cho Hyunsu’s signal, Plan B’s main forces surged forward, their weapons gleaming as they charged.

*WAAA—!!*

In the *Faction Battlefield* of Verbeia Forest, the real battle for the World Boss had just begun.
