- Lololol
- Wow, this gets uploaded instantly these days. Back in my day, uploads and encoding took forever...
- What, is this guy from Baekgol? Was he recording instead of fighting?
ㄴ (OP) I ran out of potions, so I escaped up a tree. The view of the dragon was perfect, so I zoomed in and recorded. We’re not allowed to stream during raids to prevent leaks, so I posted anonymously.
ㄴ Kick this guy from the guild. Find him!

- Until the first breath, non-GG streamers were covering the battle, but what happened after? How’d they block the breath? Did they run invincibility parties like Plan B?
ㄴ The video shows it now. They used scales from the guardian they defeated to make a barricade.
ㄴ Wow, Hongbaek Guild members are really something. They planned to chip away at that HP from the start.
ㄴ Without Whitey tanking, no one could’ve even attempted this. How can anyone tank Green Dragon without party protection magic?
ㄴ You could probably get away with a protection mage for the tank, but Whitey’s handling it solo.

- 50% triggers the flight phase, lol. Dragon’s falling!
ㄴ Rangers were waiting above. They must’ve used the ballista object. How’d they find that?
ㄴ Hongbaek entered from the cliff earlier to avoid faction battles since they had PvE gear.
ㄴ They’re not taking damage from the poison mist. Are they not using antidotes either? Maybe it's that green buff?
ㄴ It’s an immunity buff from the Spider’s Nest dungeon. They probably went there to grab it.

- We’ve hit the 20% mark, lol. Look at them peel those scales off like they're filleting a fish.
- Once the scales are off, the Onmyoji and Spiritmaster are locking it down. The damage keeps ramping up.
- Could any other party pull this off? Or is it just Hongbaek Guild? Whitey ripped off the scales from the neck during the first breath, and that’s where they’re dealing the most damage.
ㄴ Maybe in the future when everyone’s stats are higher, they’ll be able to deal more damage on the scales. But with Ancient Temple gear, it’ll take forever.
ㄴ Whitey’s just built differently. Did you see them jump on the floating rocks during the breath attack?
ㄴ This feels like something straight out of an anime, lol.
ㄴ I need to quit being a swordsman. How is this possible? Even in a virtual reality game, this physical difference is ridiculous.

- Gyuham Jo Hyunsu just showed up, lololol.
- Keke!
- Uh-oh. Gyuham’s PvP gear is really strong. Isn’t Hongbaek Guild fully geared for PvE? GG Squad is busy holding back Plan B at the forest outskirts in a war.
ㄴ They managed to take down Gyuham and finish off the dragon, but how? Even with PvE gear, Gyuham’s PvP gear should’ve made him untouchable.
ㄴ His full PvP gear is enhanced with special stones for bonus damage and damage reduction against players. He’s untouchable with that setup.
ㄴ Plus, his Ecostones are elite-level, all three of them: Freeze, Status Resistance, and Vampire Drain.

- Even Deathmaster went down. Deathmaster’s arena rank 1, and Gyuham’s rank 2, but he couldn’t even scratch him.
ㄴ Yep, the arena is balanced gear-wise, but not in the faction battlegrounds. Not even Deathmaster can beat him here.
ㄴ Oh no, Chris is in trouble...
 ㄴ Wait!

- Whitey just aggroed Gyuham. Time for the livestream!
ㄴ You all watching this? Am I seeing this right?
 ㄴ What?
ㄴ No way, they’re dodging? They’re not even blocking!
ㄴ Swordsman skills are instant-cast. How are they dodging? Is it the freeze effect making them avoid blocking?
ㄴ I fought them in the arena once. They dodged everything. Insane reaction time.
ㄴ This isn’t just reaction time, it’s synchronization. Did they hack the capsule to boost it?
ㄴ Even if your synchronization is at 100%, you still couldn’t dodge like that, lol.
ㄴ But they can’t deal any damage. PvE gear can’t kill Gyuham.
ㄴ They just landed a full aerial combo, lol!
ㄴ So, you can land *Flash Strike* as a combo finisher in the air? I need to practice that.
ㄴ Oh no, Gyuham isn’t dead. He’s chugging potions. It’s over.
ㄴ Whitey’s starting to freeze up. They’re falling from the dragon’s head!
 ㄴ No, Whitey, don’t!
 ㄴ Wait...
 ㄴ Wow.
ㄴ What’s that? Green light flashing.
 ㄴ Lolololol!
ㄴ Did they lure Gyuham? They fell right in front of the dragon’s mouth!
 ㄴ Gyuham’s down, lololol.
 ㄴ The map changed, lmao.
 ㄴ Who’d fall for that!
 ㄴ Gyuham... what a loss.

.
.
.

- So, that’s how it ended. What if Gyuham landed the final hit on the dragon?
ㄴ The guild did most of the damage, so Gyuham wouldn’t get loot rights. If the contribution system’s in place, that’s how it works. Plan B’s best bet was to wipe Hongbaek and reset the dragon.
ㄴ I’m in the Plan B alliance, and we had good loot-sharing terms if we succeeded. Such a shame.
ㄴ What if Gyuham had wiped out GG Squad and then finished the dragon himself?
ㄴ He’d be a hero for the Beta Empire.
ㄴ Gyuham’s a decent guy, but his laugh makes him sound like a villain, lol.
ㄴ Watching him harass Whitey made him look like a true villain, lol.

- How much do you think a legendary weapon will sell for?
 ㄴ At least 10,000 gold.
ㄴ 10,000 gold is like 100 million won in real cash, lol. That’s insane.
ㄴ People with that kind of money would easily pay for the honor of being the first legendary weapon owner. No big deal.
ㄴ In games like MapleStory, people spent even more. 100 million for a weapon isn’t that crazy.
ㄴ Yeah, Ecostone crafting for elite+ costs a fortune, and people still buy them.

"Woohoo! We did it!"

"Hongbaek! Hongbaek! Chris’s raid team!"

Cheers erupted.

"GG Squad, thank you for your support. Everyone did an excellent job holding back Plan B."

"Everyone fulfilled their role, and that’s why we won," Chris said, shaking hands with GG Squad’s guild master, "We Got Married."

The World Boss raid on the *Green Dragon* ended in victory for the Alpha Empire.

Plan B’s Beta Empire alliance lost morale after the Green Dragon fell and retreated beyond the forest.

I clung to Chris, quietly surveying the crowd.

Hundreds of Alpha Empire players surrounded the dragon’s lair, where the boss had been defeated.

So many people.

During the battle, I hadn’t realized how many players were in the forest. Even the Hongbaek Guild members who had fallen had respawned and returned.

"Rain! Are you okay?"

Baymerung came rushing over, looking worried.

"I’m fine. I just bruised my bottom falling from the dragon’s head."

I gave her a small smile and twisted my waist to check my backside. Sure enough, it was covered in dirt.

"Sis."

I turned to Chris and subtly stuck out my butt, signaling for her to dust it off.

"Ahem."

Pat, pat!

Chris coughed awkwardly and began dusting off my back.

Her face seemed to have turned a little red.

Clap.

"We Got Married" clapped his hands, drawing everyone’s attention.

"Alright, it’s great to celebrate, but it’s time to check the most important thing: the loot. The loot rights go to the Hongbaek Guild raid, correct?"

"Yes. I’ll handle it," Chris said as

 the raid leader.

Cheers erupted from the GG Squad alliance players. Meanwhile, independent players looked disappointed.

We Got Married flashed a grin and spoke to the independent Alpha Empire players.

"You all helped fend off the Beta Empire players, so I’ll share a bit of my portion with you. I can’t promise much, but I’ll do what I can."

"Woohoo!"

"We Got Married! We Got Married!"

"Post recruitment for GG Squad if you have room!"

GG Squad’s guild master, We Got Married, sure knew how to handle people and keep them loyal.

Most of the players’ attention was on We Got Married and Chris.

But I could still feel many eyes on me as well.

Some gazed at me with awe and curiosity, while others seemed to hold something else... something strange.

I wasn’t sure about the latter.

If Chris weren’t by my side, I’m sure people would have bombarded me with questions by now.

My playstyle was definitely different from most swordsmen.

I clung even closer to Chris, feeling a bit overwhelmed.

Did I go too far?

This attention was the exact reason I’d played solo all this time.

But... I wanted that legendary item.

Chris, now holding the dragon’s loot chest, gasped in surprise.

"Magic stones, high-grade magic stones, even the rarest ones! How many are there?"

"How much do you think they’re worth?"

"Just the regular magic stones alone... there must be tens of thousands! Dragon bones, dragon scales... Are these materials for special crafting? And then there’s..."

The surrounding players’ faces lit up with excitement.

With that many magic stones—the essential ingredient for all item enhancements—everyone would get a nice share.

Dragon bones and scales could be used by blacksmiths to craft special items or reinforce existing ones. These new crafting materials would fetch high prices, ensuring everyone would be satisfied with their cut.

The World Boss rewards were as massive as expected. Who knew how long it would take for the *Green Dragon* to respawn, but they certainly wouldn’t release that many resources again soon. It’d probably be several months before another chance like this.

But there was one reward everyone was holding their breath for.

The real prize.

"...There’s a legendary item."

Beep.

Chris shared the item information with everyone.

**[Green Dragon Heart]**
**[Legendary Grade]**
**[Soulbound upon acquisition]**
**[Reveals its true form in response to the user’s strength]**

"What the—what is this!?"

"A legendary-grade item! But it’s not a weapon?"

"Look at the item description! It seems like it turns into a weapon depending on the user’s class!"

"The first legendary weapon in Astria Online’s history!"

Cheers erupted.

We Got Married raised his hands to calm the crowd and began the auction.

"Alright, as previously mentioned, only GG Squad alliance members have the right to bid on the legendary item. We’ll start the bidding at 500 gold."

I checked my gold. I had about 2,000 gold saved up—roughly 20 million won in real cash. A fortune I wouldn’t have dared spend before I started playing *Astria Online.*

But now, I could afford it.

The biggest financial burden, finding a home for Seulbi, had already been resolved.

The *Green Dragon Heart.*

Its stats were still a mystery, but it was Astria Online’s first *legendary-grade* weapon.

It would be strong enough to outclass any weapon from the next four or five elite dungeons.

I wanted it.

This was an investment in myself.

I was going to go big.

Swallowing nervously, I raised my hand and said cautiously,

"1,000 gol—"

"2,000 gold!"

"2,500 gold!"

"Gah!"

I jumped in surprise.
