Shut Up, Malevolent Dragon! I Don’t Want to Have …
Vol. 2 Ch. 62 Table of contents

Rosvisser flew behind Stah.

Leon leaped onto her back, and the two quickly put some distance between themselves and Stah.

“Is he planning a final counterattack?” Leon asked as he watched Stah gather energy.

Rosvisser circled, observing Stah carefully.

It didn’t look like a counterattack.

No, it looked more like... mutual destruction!

At that moment, Stah wasn’t just gathering energy in his mouth; even his heart was beginning to glow with power.

“He’s using the power of his *Heartshield Dragon Scales*,” Rosvisser said gravely. “Stah plans to destroy everything here.”

Leon frowned at the unfamiliar term. “Heartshield Dragon Scales? What’s that?”

Rosvisser hesitated for a moment before explaining, “It’s complicated. But the bottom line is, if we don’t stop Stah, everyone here could die.”

Leon could feel the terrifying surge of energy building inside Stah.

If Leon were at his peak, he might have been able to gather enough power to counterbalance it.

But right now, he only had about half his usual magic reserves, and the earlier exchanges had drained him significantly.

If they were going to stop Stah, they would need a different plan.

“This energy has become uncontrollable—even Stah knows that,” Rosvisser said. “He’s like a giant, unstable bomb now, ready to go off at any moment. But we don’t have enough power to match that energy and stop it.”

She knew how strong Leon was—at his peak, he was nearly unstoppable.

But this wasn’t a typical situation.

Stah, in his current state, would be the strongest enemy they had ever faced.

After a brief pause, Rosvisser asked, “What are you going to do? Retreat or stay and stop him?”

Leon’s brow furrowed as he analyzed the situation. “You just said the explosion’s range is unpredictable. Noa and the others are still in the sanctuary—we can’t risk it. We have to stop Stah here.”

Rosvisser thought for a moment and nodded. “Alright. What’s your plan?”

Leon slowly raised his head and looked up at the sky.

Suddenly, a crazy idea flashed through his mind.

Meanwhile, at the command platform in the distance, Ravi had prepared the space transport array.

As soon as Stah self-destructed, he would teleport away.

Ravi could hardly believe the old dragon was mad enough to destroy everything here.

Didn’t he understand the terrifying power he was about to unleash?

Oh.

Maybe he did.

But once this move was done, everyone would be dead anyway, so what did it matter?

The inherent madness and obsession with revenge that ran through dragon blood was something even they couldn’t always understand.

Especially Dragon Kings like Stah, who had purer dragon blood.

They couldn’t accept failure—especially not such a humiliating one.

Mutual destruction was always part of their battle strategy.

“Hey, hey, Ravi, you’re not going to leave me behind here, are you? Our master won’t forgive you!” Nacho grabbed Ravi’s arm, panicking.

Ravi shook him off in disgust.

“If you want to live, shut up. Leon Cassmod is as good as dead. He’s powerful, yes, but from what I’ve seen, he can’t generate the kind of magic to counter Stah. Everything here will be leveled—it’s not like we even need to intervene.”

“Y-yeah, yeah, Leon can’t escape this time. Our mission’s complete!” Nacho, now desperate, nodded in agreement. “It’s just a shame about Stah. What a brave Dragon King, taking everyone down with him.”

Ravi bit his lip. “Sacrificing Stah to wipe out a monster like Leon Cassmod is a fair trade.”

“Exactly, I never liked that kid since he enlisted—wait, what are they doing?” Nacho asked, staring toward the battlefield.

Ravi followed his gaze.

Rosvisser, still in her dragon form, was launching fireballs into the sky.

All the silver dragon guards stationed at the border had transformed as well and were also firing flames into the sky.

Hundreds of fireballs ascended into the clouds.

Ravi frowned. Those fireballs wouldn’t hurt Stah, so what were they doing?

A ritual before death?

On the battlefield, Stah continued to gather energy.

The Silver Dragons, meanwhile, kept launching fireballs into the sky, one after another.

Gradually, the once-clear sky grew darker, and thick storm clouds began to gather.

Plop—

A raindrop fell on Ravi’s hand.

He glanced down. “It’s raining?”

After that single drop, a torrential downpour followed.

Ravi looked at the dragons, still firing fireballs, and muttered to himself, “The dragon flames heated the air, creating an updraft that generated storm clouds... but are they planning to use rain to douse Stah’s rage? What a joke, idiots—”

He stopped mid-sentence.

No.

No, that wasn’t it.

They weren’t trying to use the rain.

They were—

BOOM!

A deafening thunderclap echoed from the clouds above.

It felt as though the lightning had exploded inside Ravi’s mind, leaving him speechless.

“Lightning... that lunatic... that guy’s a complete maniac!!” Ravi suddenly realized what was happening, and it made him almost lose control.

Next to him, Nacho was still clueless. “What? Shouldn’t we run?”

“No.”

A twisted smile spread across Ravi’s face. “You don’t get to see something like this every day. Missing it would be a once-in-a-lifetime regret.”

Nacho’s face paled. “You’re insane... you dragons are all insane!”

Meanwhile, on the battlefield, the silver dragon hovered in the sky.

Leon stood tall at the dragon’s head, his right hand raised high.

The rain poured down harder.

The lightning within the clouds crackled like an awakened beast, roaring its fury at the world.

“Lightning—the most powerful element in nature, and also the most uncontrollable.”

Leon called upon the lightning, the thunder rolling in constant waves. “But to stop something as uncontrollable as Stah, I’ll need its power.”

“Sometimes, Leon, I really think you think like a dragon,” Rosvisser commented lightly. “What human would come up with such a crazy plan?”

“Dear Melkvei, the mad one here isn’t a dragon or a human—”

Lightning surged, shaking the heavens.

The man in silver armor leaped from the dragon’s head.

“The mad one... is me.”

Gripping the power of thunder in his hand, Leon plunged toward the blinding golden light of Stah’s impending destruction.
