The James Space Station, now occupied by the green moon.

The woman slowly opened her eyes.

At first, she couldn’t quite grasp where she was.

As she blinked and looked around the dim surroundings, the memories of what happened before she fell asleep started to return.

‘I fell asleep...’

She muttered to herself in a daze.

In reality, falling asleep in the middle of an emergency involving an object like this was a terrible idea, but she couldn’t help it.

The appearance of the "green moon," an advanced-level object, the sudden loss of contact with Earth, and the rapid growth of plants and trees within the station had all taken their toll.

Worse still, the station had twisted and fractured, leaving her separated from her colleagues, shivering alone in the endless darkness and cold.

When she encountered the "friendly" strange creature that cried “Ming!” the tension within her had melted away, leading her to fall asleep, almost against her will.

The creature was still nestled in her arms.

“Miiing. Miiing.”

The small creature, now dozing off, made soft snoring sounds, as if it were purring in her arms.

The woman smiled gently and began to stroke the creature's soft fur.

As she enjoyed the warmth and softness, the creature opened its eyes and woke up.

“Hello.”

She greeted it, staring into its golden, glowing eyes.

“Ming!” the creature mimicked her tone, its cry echoing hers.

The woman chuckled softly and began playing with the creature.

At this point, she had resigned herself to the fact that she was likely going to die. Between being stranded in space and the green moon’s effects, there wasn’t much hope left.

But the creature seemed intrigued by her, as if it was truly interested in humans.

The more she interacted with it, the more it reminded her of something her friend at James Tower had once mentioned—the mini reapers.

‘It doesn’t look the same, but it does remind me of them a little.’

At James Tower, it was a well-known theory that mini reapers were somehow connected to the "moons." Could there be a connection between this creature, born from the green moon, and the mini reapers?

The creature imitated everything she did.

When she extended her hand, it did the same. When she patted her head, it reached out and patted hers in return.

And when she spoke, it mimicked her, making a soft "Ming" sound.

Though it didn’t seem to understand what she was saying, its presence was comforting. She no longer felt the crushing loneliness that had plagued her when she was by herself.

As they played, the sun reappeared over the horizon of Earth, illuminating the space station once more.

Grrr.

Her stomach growled loudly.

‘Come to think of it, I haven’t eaten properly in a while.’

As she clutched her hungry stomach, the creature suddenly began to grow larger.

“Ming!”

Now much larger than her, the creature let out a loud cry and lunged toward her.

“!!!!”

She was utterly startled, but before she could even react, the creature scooped her up.

‘Is this it? Is it finally going to show its true colors and eat me?’

She braced herself for death, shutting her eyes tight as the creature held her in its giant hands.

But instead of devouring her, the creature merely lifted her onto its head.

‘?’

Then, with soft shuffling sounds, the creature began to move, leaving the area where the communication console had been.

Feeling a bit embarrassed for being so scared, she slowly patted the creature's head.

“Ming!” the creature chirped in response and continued crawling forward.

Sssssk. Sssssk.

Though the sound of the creature’s movement was soft, it moved with surprising speed for its size.

“Huh?”

When they rounded a corner, she was met with an unbelievable sight: an endless jungle stretched out before them.

‘???????’

This didn’t make sense.

How had the space station suddenly become a forest?

The woman was utterly bewildered.

Just moments ago, she had been inside a space station, and now it had transformed into a dense jungle.

It was already strange enough that plants and trees had begun sprouting inside the station due to the object’s influence, but this... this was something else entirely.

“This must be the ‘spatial invasion’ caused by the moon,” she murmured.

She had heard about the red moon’s desert, the blue moon’s lakes, and other environments changing due to the moons, but experiencing it firsthand was different.

This was a realm that human technology could never hope to reach!

Looking back, the passageway she had come from had vanished, replaced entirely by the jungle. Everywhere she looked, all she could see was an endless expanse of forest.

She and the creature stood on a high hill, allowing her to see the vast jungle stretching out before her, like a giant green carpet extending to the horizon.

The dense trees, packed tightly together, resembled a forest of broccoli heads.

This was no longer a space station.

A gust of wind blew in from the horizon, causing the leaves to sway, creating rippling waves of green.

The air was thick with the dampness characteristic of a forest, and the scent of fresh wood and plants filled her nostrils.

As a strange bird, resembling an archaeopteryx, flew across the sky, its cries added to the lively atmosphere of the forest.

“H-ha ha…”

The woman let out a hollow laugh as she gazed down at the jungle below.

In the shallow areas of the Mini Reaper Garden, on the Marshmallow Plains, I lay on the soft marshmallows, deep in thought.

‘How am I going to reach the space station?’

I had already tried the red reaper rocket and even attempted to transform into a red reaper to fly, but both failed.

For some reason, the higher I got from the ground, the faster my energy drained, preventing me from flying long distances.

I figured this was one of the reasons the black reapers had always said, "Mom can't fly."

The best solution I could think of was to load the golden reapers into a massive black reaper ballista and fire them indiscriminately into space.

With enough golden reapers—perhaps a million—one of them was bound to reach the station, right?

But the problem was whether the golden reapers could return to the garden from space.

Given how quickly energy was consumed in space, there was a high chance they wouldn’t make it back.

If they couldn’t return, they’d become lost in space, which would be... unfortunate.

I needed to test this theory, but testing required getting to space, so it was a real dilemma.

No answer in sight.

Maybe I wasn’t strong enough yet to destroy the Iron Tower after all?

As I pondered the situation, I looked down at my palm, where two golden reapers were playing gleefully.

They were engulfed in golden flames, their entire bodies blazing as if they were on fire.

It all started when I grabbed the golden reapers to use as part of my weight-loss plan.

The idea was simple: if they had gained weight from my energy, then releasing that energy should help burn it off.

So, I grabbed a golden reaper in each hand and poured as much energy into them as possible.

At first, they squirmed and cried, “Nooo!” and “Don’t turn me into a blob!” but now they were laughing and playing.

Realizing they wouldn’t gain any more weight no matter how much energy I poured into them, they began using the excess energy to play.

They had turned it into a game, firing concentrated beams of energy at each other, much like the battles you’d see in a comic.

They’d launch large orbs of energy or even beams of light at each other, and whenever they collided, golden explosions lit up the air.

The sight was impressive enough that more golden reapers had gathered around to watch.

Soon, there was a line forming, and the game had become so popular that they were taking turns participating.

‘I want to shoot beams too.’

I could only watch in envy as they fired their beams, wishing I could do the same.

Sniff.

While observing them closely to figure out how they did it, one of the golden reapers came up to my ear.

‘Golden Tyranno!’

It whispered a word that immediately caught my interest.

Tyrannosaurus, you say?

Deep within what no longer felt like a space station, the woman found herself riding on the back of the large creature, wandering through the dense forest.

The towering trees blocked out much of the sunlight, casting dark shadows across the forest floor.

It felt like she was in the middle of a vast, green ocean, surrounded on all sides by towering plants.

The creature gently set her down on the ground and climbed up a tree, returning moments later with a large fruit.

It split the fruit in half and handed her one side, which sloshed with a liquid that reminded her of coconut water.

As she sipped the juice, the sweet and smooth flavor filled her mouth.

“It’s delicious…”

The woman muttered absently, savoring the taste.

“Thank you,” she added, smiling warmly at the creature.

The creature responded with a cheerful, loud cry.

“Ming!”

Together, they settled under a large tree, enjoying the peaceful moment as they snacked on the fruit.

It was a serenity she never could have imagined while drifting through space on the doomed station.

They passed the time in quiet companionship, stacking fruits and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere.

But then, an unsettling noise came from the trees above, and the mood shifted.

Ssssk.

Fine dust began to fall from the branches, followed by the fruits they had gathered, which shook and bumped against each other.

“Mii… ing.”

The creature, suddenly tense, crawled over to her and covered her body protectively with its own.

“What’s wrong? Is something coming?”

She asked, but the creature remained silent.

It was afraid.

The creature wrapped itself around her entirely, blending into the surroundings like camouflage.

Peeking out from the small gap it left for her to breathe, she clutched the fruit tightly, looking out into the forest.

A foul, rotting stench began to fill the air, making her gag.

The putrid odor was unmistakably the scent of a predator.

Thump. Thump.

The surface of the fruit juice in her hand rippled with each heavy footstep that shook the ground.

Thump. Thump. Thump.

Something massive and dangerous was approaching.

At James Tower, the temporary rocket launch pad had been prepared.

James stood overlooking the gray reaper, who was bouncing around excitedly near the large rocket.

“I can’t believe it’s going so well.”

The gray reaper, acting more like an oversized golden reaper than usual, was gleefully hopping around the rocket, as if it couldn’t wait to launch.

The rocket itself was a crude creation, defying all known principles of aerodynamics.

The heating issues had been barely resolved using materials made from objects, but it was still a far-from-perfect design.

James had known that the gray reaper had an odd obsession with Tyrannosauruses, but he hadn’t realized the extent of it.

It was almost comical—like offering a Tyrannosaurus-shaped candy to lure the gray reaper into an alley.

Usually, the gray reaper acted with intelligence similar to that of a human, but when it came to Tyrannosauruses, it behaved like a mindless object.

Now, the gray reaper had already phased through the outer wall of the rocket and was strapped into a seat, grinning happily.

It knocked on the internal camera, as if urging them to start the launch.

Seeing this, James turned to his staff and gave the order.

“Begin launch preparations!”

The operation to retake the James Space Station had begun.
