James Tower, Outskirts of Songpa District

After sending the gray reaper into space on the Golden-Mecha-Tyranno Rocket, James had hoped for a moment’s rest. However, a new emergency had him back in the thick of things almost immediately.

“If we’re out of object-protection suits, even virus-protection suits will do!” he commanded.
“Move any spare flamethrowers to the Gwanaksan area right away!”
“Declare the emergency now! The American Object Association will issue an announcement soon!”

The control room at James Tower bustled with activity as staff hurriedly relayed orders and made calls. This latest crisis had been dubbed the “Green Moon Bacteria” incident.

From tiger hordes across Korea to mythical creatures like phoenixes soaring in the skies, everything born from the Green Moon was now transforming into sticky, dark green ooze. And it wasn’t just melting away dangerous creatures—this ooze was absorbing everything around it, growing and spreading endlessly.

Organic material like plants and animals, inorganic materials like metal and stone, even gases in the atmosphere—all were consumed by this bacteria-like ooze, expanding unchecked like something from a sci-fi nightmare.

Fortunately, the ooze spread slowly, and there were ways to combat it, though only temporarily: high heat.

Still, even this solution was only a stopgap.

“It’s regenerating, just as I feared,” James muttered, looking over experimental data from his research lab in America.

The bacteria, much like the isolated “Blue Lizard” at Sehee Research Institute, could be completely incinerated and yet still revive. They’d observed it countless times—no matter how thoroughly they burned it, the green ooze always reappeared.

The control room suddenly flared with red and blue lights on the map display.

“Red reapers have arrived in the Gwanaksan area!”

On the monitors, the red reapers hovered over Gwanaksan, burning away the dark green ooze with their crimson fire.

“Revolution!” they cried, flying with red scythes and hammers in hand. The red reapers, starting from Seoul Forest, had begun spreading across the globe.

“Once again, reapers come to Earth’s rescue,” James murmured, watching reports of red reapers appearing worldwide.

“But do we really need those scythes and hammers?” He had a feeling that those symbols might cause trouble once this crisis was over.

James Space Station, Occupied by the Green Moon

The new creature, having fused with the Green Moon, spread dark green ooze with utter confidence.

<Immortality.>

It believed itself to have achieved true immortality, mimicking the evolutionary fluid to create a simple yet powerful life force, an endless cycle of birth, death, and rebirth.

The Green Moon, certain it had reached divine heights, decided to test its powers on a weaker god.

As the Green Moon exuded its killing intent, the dark green ooze bubbled, taking on the forms of various animals it had once created. Tigers, dragons, and countless other beasts filled the barren domain around it.

The gray reaper, however, remained calm, simply extending its right hand as the creatures surged toward it like an unstoppable wave.

‘Screech.’

The gray reaper’s hand clenched the air, and space itself contorted, erasing everything in its grasp—a display of divine wrath and power. Yet, even in the face of such power, the Green Moon’s confidence didn’t waver; it sensed that the gray reaper’s presence had slightly diminished.

It was proof that the gray reaper, despite its abilities, couldn’t continue this feat indefinitely. But the Green Moon, which regenerated endlessly, believed it was invincible.

<Arise once more and serve us,> it commanded, attempting to revive its creatures.

But nothing happened. The Green Moon’s core essence had noticeably weakened. Its eternal life force, which should have been endlessly recycled, had diminished.

As the Green Moon began to feel panic, the gray reaper smirked, as if it had been waiting for this moment.

The gray reaper spread its arms wide, and suddenly, creatures made of sweets began to rise from the ground.

Mint-choco tigers, candy phoenixes, cotton candy dragons, and a roll cake T. rex—all creatures the Green Moon had once created but now transformed into entities of sugary delight. They encircled the Green Moon.

In a moment of sheer terror, the Green Moon sensed the candy ecosystem within the gray reaper’s depths. And just as it had once fled the evolutionary fluid, it began to flee again, gripped by endless fear.

The Collapsing Space of James Space Station

The means to destroy the Green Moon’s power—<Sever the chain of life>—had become clear as I watched the dark green ooze closely. The bacteria in the ooze had a simple weakness.

<Destroy the majority of its cell structure.>

The ooze was a mass of unstable bacteria that repeatedly died and revived, like the power of the “Blue Alien’s” soul ability.

‘To break the chain of life, do I need to summon the Blue Giant?’ But then it dawned on me—the ooze belonged to a moon’s power.

If it was an object ability that caused death and rebirth, and on the scale of a moon rather than an alien… then as soon as I killed it, it would end up in the mini reaper garden.

Grinning, I watched the Green Moon begin to flee upon realizing my power.

“Don’t make it boring—don’t run away!”

Even as I crushed bone-and-flesh monsters with my grip, the ooze fled, discarding its core form. The enormous Green Moon above began to break apart, melting into dark green ooze that poured down.

The Green Moon, abandoning its form, let everything dissolve. Air, ground, and even the space itself became ooze, as the force holding it all together shifted into liquid to escape.

Then, as holes tore through the space, the vast Earth and endless cosmos came into view.

With the Green Moon’s hold on space finally gone, I summoned the mini reaper garden.

Suddenly, countless mini reapers, the giant moss ball, and the lone survivor were all cast into the vacuum of space alongside me.

The unconscious mini reapers began floating toward Earth, while the survivor clung to the moss ball, trying to withstand the vacuum.

‘Danger!’

Realizing the peril, the black reapers quickly moved to shield the mini reapers and survivor. They wrapped themselves around them, creating a protective sphere that blocked the cold, heat, pressure, and lack of air.

But I could tell they were still in danger—there wasn’t enough oxygen, among other issues. So I sent the black reaper sphere and everyone inside it into the mini reaper garden.

With the mini reapers, survivor, and black reapers safe, only the golden reapers remained. They seemed to be enjoying the weightlessness, so I decided to let them be.

As Earth’s gravity pulled me down, I spotted scattered pieces of green ooze plummeting toward Earth, likely planning to spread across the planet.

With the ooze now spread far and wide, it would be too difficult to destroy each piece with spatial cuts, especially as they started burning up in the atmosphere.

‘Looks like I have no choice.’

I pulled out the blue orb from the mini reaper garden.

A massive gray reaper, known as the Blue Giant, emerged in a burst of azure light.

Controlling the Blue Giant, I felt my energy drain quickly, sensing the flow of object souls around me. The Blue Alien’s ability to absorb the souls of dead objects filled me with power.

As the bacteria burned up on entering the atmosphere, their unstable structure led to rapid death. But rather than returning to the cycle of life, their souls were stolen by the Blue Giant.

The golden reapers, meanwhile, each found their favorite way to re-enter Earth’s atmosphere, turning into golden comets.

“Mmm, it’s warm inside!”

Some soared with their mouths open, others spiraled as they fell, while others curled up like balls or raised their arms toward the sun in joy.

The golden reapers formed a shimmering meteor shower—a celestial display of “The Golden Reaper Comet Army.”

The Night of Eight Moons

In the sky, eight moons hung above—a gray, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet moon. At the center was a large gray moon, surrounded by the vibrant hues of the others.

On a quiet street, a newspaper lay discarded on the ground, its front page displaying an unusual photograph—a massive gray reaper descending from the sky, bathed in blue light, with golden reapers like comets trailing beside it.
