Heroine Hunts Heroines
Chapter 36 Table of contents

I decided to take a closer look at Rosaria's new interest. This was an SM story—a book I'd read before. It featured a scene where a maid tied up her lady in a tortoise shell bondage and tormented her in a dungeon. I picked it up just to confirm, and, as expected, it was exactly the type of story I remembered.

“Well, well, this is interesting,” I said.

“P-please, give it back,” she stammered.

It seemed like she wanted to snatch the book from me, but a healer has no chance of overpowering a dealer in terms of strength. This yuri book was now mine, to do with as I pleased. But then a thought occurred to me.

“So, do you want to be the lady, or would you prefer I take that role?”

“I-it’s not like that…”

She denied it but didn’t outright reject the idea. It seemed she wanted one of us to play the role of the lady in the story. Honestly, nuns can be quite troublesome.

“Look, I know how to do tortoise shell bondage. If you perform well today, I might just tie you up and treat you like my little pet for an entire night.”

*Gulp*

I could hear her swallowing nervously. These heroines, like Reina and Han Su-ji, all seemed to have turned into M-leaning yuri fans. Fine by me. The previous version of Azhdaha caused chaos wherever he went, but he wasn’t an incorrigible pervert who derived pleasure from simply watching others suffer. I’m more… selective with my conquests.

“Who… who wants that?! Hmph! I’m only tolerating this because I don’t stand a chance against you!”

“For someone just ‘tolerating’ it, you’re awfully warm… and a bit damp…”

“D-don’t touch me! People are watching.”

“So, you’re okay with it as long as no one’s looking?” I teased.

Her cheeks flushed red at my words. Since she wasn’t exactly rejecting the idea, it seemed my British nun was in the mood to be taken. Then, just as I was about to lead her toward the restroom for some alone time, a young Caucasian boy stepped in our path.

“Ah, Rosaria, it’s so nice to see you! It’s been a whole year since we met in London, hasn’t it?”

A handsome blonde with a sweet smile—a typical Western guy. He blocked our path with his charming grin.

“Ah, of course, Rosaria. I see you’ve even gotten close to the famed ‘White Flame Valkyrie’ from the Korean Hunter Association, Miss Yu Eun-ha. You really are my woman!”

“Haha… Allen, please don’t say things like that. We’re not officially engaged or anything.”

Rosaria glanced at me nervously as she spoke.

“Ah, but our hearts and bodies are intertwined, carried over from past lives, wouldn’t you say? So, there’s no need to feel burdened.”

Allen… Yes, that’s right. Allen was a pest who clung to Rosaria in the original story. Eventually, Choi Si-woo took care of him, sending him to his end. Later, Allen saw Si-woo as King Arthur incarnate, transformed into a monster, and had his heart pierced by Si-woo’s Sacred Sword.

Allow me to clarify this strange setup: our dear author wrote Allen’s character as a reincarnation of Lancelot, while Rosaria is supposedly Guinevere reborn. Legend or not, it’s a ridiculous setup.

“My apologies, Miss Yu Eun-ha. I am Allen, one of the Knights of the Round Table.”

Allen smiled politely, giving a proper British gentleman’s bow. This wasn’t my scene to step into; Choi Si-woo was supposed to appear here. But the story had twisted, so now I had to take on Si-woo’s role. Normally, Allen would be wary if Si-woo was by Rosaria’s side since Si-woo was a man, but he seemed relaxed with me here, given that I’m a woman.

I wanted to say, “Hey! Your ‘woman’ and I had quite the time in bed!” but that was past life nonsense. I’ll play along for now.

“You seem to know a lot about me?”

“Kim Jae-su’s reputation as an S-Class Hunter reached even Britain. News of his attack on Hansung Academy was hard to believe, so we investigated and found he had turned into a monster and was slain by you, Miss Yu Eun-ha.”

“Yes.”

Ah, that weakling Kim Jae-su… he was practically a mid-boss level villain. Actually, considering his S-Class status, he might have even ranked among the final bosses.

“W-was Kim Jae-su really such a remarkable Hunter?” Rosaria murmured.

She must’ve heard about it at the church. Did she think he wasn’t much because I, a cadet, defeated him so easily?

“Yes, Rosaria. Back when the British Hunters took on the Chinese Yellow Dragon, our main forces were depleted. At that time, Kim Jae-su, who was staying in England, defeated the monster that appeared.”

What more is there to say? Just a few years ago, Kim Jae-su was a decent guy. Anyway, Allen was clearly the type to follow in Kim Jae-su’s footsteps. Even used a spear, just like him. Well, at least I’d get to handle him as I see fit. Fortunately, he seemed comfortable around me since I was a woman. I’ll be sure to record some “intimate” footage with Rosaria to send him after the team competition.

“Miss Yu Eun-ha, the Knights of the Round Table are also watching with interest. We hope your contributions will continue to foster a friendly relationship between Korea and Britain.”

Basically, he wanted me to rise through the ranks and secure a position with the association so that Korea and Britain could maintain a strong alliance. Thanks to Yu Jin-seok, relations between the two countries had grown significantly. The two Hunter worlds had even established an alliance, with Britain being one of Europe’s Hunter powerhouses.

“Oh, I wouldn’t want to disappoint the Round Table.”

This was my first meeting with Allen. He gave a sweet smile, bid Rosaria and me farewell, and then left, saying he had business at the association. As soon as he disappeared, Rosaria turned to me.

“Um… Yu Eun-ha, I swear, there’s nothing… like that between us.”

“Huh? Really?”

Feigning ignorance, I tilted my head.

“Wh-what?”

“Taking other people’s wives or fiancées is way more fun anyway. Tch.”

Not kidding. Even when I worked in an office, married or taken women were often the quickest to fall with just a little bit of charm.

“I… I can’t believe it. You’re a rising star in Korea, yet you’re a crazy psycho lesbian. It’s too much.”

“Believe it. I’ll be the King Arthur who takes care of you for the rest of your life.”

Finally, Rosaria began to grasp the kind of person I was and shivered. But that couldn’t be helped. The dragon within me only craved yuri.

“Why does it feel like you’re the female version of Allen?”

“That’s harsh. Don’t compare me to that sweet-talking idiot.”

In reality, most of the British Knights of the Round Table were full of themselves, save for one or two exceptions. There were probably four guys just like Allen among them.

“Ugh, my head hurts. How did I end up stuck with a woman like you?”

Yet, while she grumbled, her body seemed to tell a different story. Her exposed thigh was adorned with an alluring black garter belt, as if it was intended to provoke me. Was this what they call ‘battle underwear’? After the team competition, I’d definitely have to spend some quality time with Rosaria.

“No! I might find you interesting, but that doesn’t mean I’m into women! Just because I read yuri doesn’t mean I’m a lesbian!”

After spouting her excuses, Rosaria stomped into the arena, though her flushed face hinted at a different truth.

Meanwhile, in Hansung Academy’s Class B, Team 1, their leader, Park Jun-hyuk, was nervously biting his nails.

“Damn it. Where does she get that kind of power?”

He had considered her a rival, but Yu Eun-ha was far stronger than he had expected. She was a female cadet who enjoyed a significant advantage as Yu Jin-seok’s sister and was rapidly rising through the ranks. It infuriated him. Despite his efforts, he could barely make a name for himself in Class B, while she raced ahead. He wanted nothing more than to put her in her place.

[You are too impatient.]

“What? So we’re supposed to just stand by and watch?”

[If there is one thing I regret in my lifetime, it was acting rashly and letting my plans fall apart in the face of court intrigue.]

“But this is a chance!”

[Restrain yourself. You must take the path of the warrior. Bide your time.]

Jun-hyuk was tired of hearing the same advice from his constellation. Couldn’t it put a little more trust in him and give him more power?

As he sighed deeply, a different voice suddenly echoed in his mind.

*Do you crave power?*

The voice sounded ominous, one he shouldn’t trust.

“Who are you?”

*I can grant you the power you desire.*

“I don’t want to become a monster.”

*Oh, but I am more than a mere monster. I can grant you a Fragment of Gluttony. With it, you could defeat

both that Sacred Sword and the White Flame.*

At first, he hesitated. Taking on unknown power was risky, but he wanted to defeat Yu Eun-ha and Choi Si-woo at any cost. Resolving himself, he accepted the Fragment of Gluttony under the assurance that it wouldn’t make him a monster.

[You fool! Are you really abandoning the warrior’s path to follow the road to ruin?]

The constellation’s voice faded, no longer reaching Jun-hyuk.

That day, the first disciple of Gluttony was born.
