All of a sudden it became trash? It's as if the novel forgot what type of novel it was. Now it's just rattling off random bullshit as if we're supposed to be invested in that. Idk wtf it's talking about much less being invested anymore. Maybe the author was reading omniscient readers viewpoint at this stage of the story and decided to try to copy the style. It doesn't work here.
