While living comfortably at my grandfather’s house, I checked the community for news to stay updated on the world’s latest events.
A few days passed.
**[Main Scenario Quest conditions have been met.]**
**[CHAPTER 3: Protect 'China' from the monsters of the Otherworld.]**
**[Time remaining: 239 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds]**
Upon confirming the scenario quest to protect China, Leah called for a guild meeting.
The entire Frey Guild gathered to discuss how we would proceed.
“Our guild, along with the top ten Arcana Online guilds, has been granted benefits by the national government,” Leah began.
The guilds within the top ten rankings in Arcana Online received offers from their respective governments, providing guarantees of freedom of movement.
But there was a catch: in times of national emergency, we would be forcibly conscripted.
In other words, they intended to claim us for the state.
“Basically, it’s to prevent talents from leaving the country,” she continued.
The world was moving toward a time when the power of Travelers was becoming the core of national authority.
That was feasible because modern weaponry was ineffective against Travelers.
Even if a bullet was fired at a criminal Traveler, not a scratch would appear, and if a bomb detonated, they could shield themselves with mana.
At that moment, Sasha raised her hand.
“So, are we going to China?”
“No,” Leah replied.
Leah, who had a direct line to the Traveler’s Association, received word that China had refused any assistance.
In short, they intended to repel the Otherworld monsters with their own strength. But would that even be possible?
“Otherworld monsters possess an entirely different level of strength. When they attack a city, ordinary Travelers can’t even put a scratch on them.”
The monsters appearing in China were so powerful that they disrupted the balance of the game. Would they truly be able to handle this?
“China doesn’t have many rankers among their Travelers, right?”
“That’s the problem. They’re underestimating the Otherworld monsters.”
In regular events, these monsters were typically hunted down by ranker-level players, so they weren’t regarded as a major threat.
For the higher reward events, I would sweep through with my dragon, Yong-yong, which caused quite a bit of grumbling.
Is that why they’re so overconfident now?
This was worrying.
Leah glanced over at me.
“So, our guild is officially giving up on this scenario quest,” she announced.
“And unofficially?” I asked.
Leah gave me a sly grin in response.
I nodded, understanding what she meant, and with that, the meeting ended, allowing everyone to act on their own.
Our guild’s motto, after all, is:
**‘Do not interfere with a guild member’s actions.’**
“Then I’ll be heading to the Arcana continent,” I announced.
My words startled the guild members.
“Is that possible?!”
“Yong-yong says it is. Oh, but only for me.”
They looked at me with a bit of disappointment.
“Well, that can’t be helped. Take care.”
“Yes!”
---
With Yong-yong’s power, I set foot on the Arcana continent in the real world for the first time.
“Well done.”
“Kyuu!”
I pulled a mana stone from my subspace and handed it to Yong-yong, who eyed it thinly.
I tossed him a few more, and only then did he look satisfied.
“Greedy little guy.”
“Kyuuw!?”
He shot me an indignant glare.
I laughed, brushing it off as a joke, and headed toward the golden city of Eldorado.
Or, should I say, the place that now had a different name.
**‘Red Revolution Headquarters.’**
As I approached the city gates, monsters recognized me and swung the doors open, rushing out to greet me.
“How have you all been?”
Hearing my words, some of the monsters started tearing up unexpectedly.
Flustered, I asked what was wrong, and they responded by wailing that they had thought they would never see me again.
Just then, a voice echoed from the distance.
“We have been waiting for you, our benefactor.”
The twin Enho approached and greeted me.
“I’m back.”
I waved with a bright smile, and they returned it with equally radiant expressions.
“We’ve issued a summon for the conference hall.”
“Well done. Let’s move.”
As I entered the conference hall for the first time in a while, representatives from each species were gathered there.
When they saw me, they were so moved they began shedding tears.
Since when has everyone become so emotional!?
Laughing, I assured them I wasn’t back from the dead, and they finally stopped crying.
“Alright! Let’s calm down and begin the meeting, shall we?”
I started talking about everything that had happened in my absence.
“The Avalon Empire and Arcadia are on the move?”
“Yes. Fortunately, they’ve signed a peace agreement, and I’ve heard they’ve been cooperating. With your absence, Lady Yuna, they declared a neutral stance for now.”
“Well done.”
We would move according to our own plans.
That’s what revolution is.
“Then, let’s contact the information guild to gather more intel and intervene in the scenario quest.”
The rewards for participating in this quest were tempting, but more importantly, it was about land.
Currently, the Arcana continent has limited land we can use, while the monster population keeps increasing day by day.
When two monsters come together, it takes just one day for them to multiply into twelve.
In short, territorial expansion was essential.
We couldn’t encroach on the lands of the Avalon Empire or Arcadia due to the peace agreement, but China wasn’t bound by it.
In return for our assistance, we could claim unused portions of their land as our reward.
And if they refused, well, we’d simply start a revolution.
With a grin, I outlined the plan for what lay ahead, preparing for a coup—no, a revolution.
For the sake of expanding our territory.

**[CHAPTER 3: Protect 'China' from the monsters of the Otherworld.]**
**[Time remaining: 00 hours, 01 minute, 59 seconds]**
Hundreds of Chinese Travelers gathered in one place.
According to satellite observations, an enormous concentration of mana was detected over the capital city.
A foreboding location.
Massive amounts of mana converged in the skies over Beijing.
As the Travelers finished their preparations, tension thickened in the air.
**[CHAPTER 3: Protect 'China' from the monsters of the Otherworld.]**
**[Commence Invasion.]**
A colossal portal appeared over Beijing, slowly opening.
And the creatures that began emerging from it—
Grotesque beings started to fall from the portal, descending to the ground as the Travelers attempted to intercept them, barely leaving a scratch.
Travelers rushed forward, swords drawn, to strike down the first wave of Otherworld monsters.
The moment a greatsword swung down to cleave one in half—
A sharp, clear sound rang out.
*Clang!*
The startled Travelers were quickly swept away like fallen leaves.
“Our attacks aren’t working!”
“Travelers are falling back!”
Panic erupted as countless Travelers began fleeing, and chaos ensued.
Amid the relentless surge of monsters, an enormous gate began appearing in the sky.
This gate was even larger than the one spewing out the Otherworld monsters.
The creatures within it struck fear in everyone’s hearts.
But something was strange.
The new monsters came in various forms, bearing red flags.
As if symbolizing a revolution, red flags waved above them.
“Is this… the end?”
In the midst of despair, an unexpected turn occurred.
Monsters bearing red flags began attacking the Otherworld monsters!
And then, a giant figure appeared.
A dragon broke through the clouds, and a booming voice resounded.
**[Behold, the arrival of the Red Revolution.]**
---
“Now that’s more like it!”
A grand entrance!
I watched as my monsters attacked the Otherworld creatures, shielding the Travelers.
Then, I sensed something approaching me.
“Wh-Who are you?!”
“Me? Oh, just me.”
A wary Chinese man aimed his weapon at me.
As I pondered what to say, a brilliant idea struck.
“We are the Red Revolution.”
At my words, he dropped his weapon.
“W-Why?”
“Revolution knows no time or place.”
Because that’s what revolution is.
Just like that, he turned and ran away.
As I watched the fleeing Traveler, a voice whispered from the shadows.
“Shall we pursue him?”
“No need. It’s not time for the world to see us yet, is it?”
What had started as a joke in the community—“Mess with that guy, and the information guild will show up in the dead of night”—had just become reality.
