How to Run Away from Obsessed Men
Chapter 7 Table of contents

Episode 7

Lindsey had intended to leave the Redian family as it was. There was no lingering attachment to this cursed family anyway.

If she hadn’t heard screams before stepping out of the gate, that’s what she would have done.

Lindsey slowly turned her head.

She could sense an unsettling energy from afar.

‘Not Azhet, not Kenyan.’

If it had been Azhet or Kenyan, she would have left this mansion without hesitation.

But if the opponent was not them, it was different.

‘Bianca.’

The only person who had sympathized with her in her past life. Lindsey began to walk quickly.

Kenyan caught Bianca, who was collapsing, in confusion.

Azhet was equally bewildered. Although he was looking for the Saint, the possibility of her arriving in time was even slimmer.

“Bianca is going to rampage.”

It was extremely difficult to subdue a transcendent being of the same level in a rampage.

Aside from not being able to subdue her in her intact state, there was also the possibility that Bianca might be seriously injured or, in the worst case scenario, killed.

Kenyan’s complexion turned pale. Amidst his confusion, he heard the murmurs of other transcendent beings in his ears.

“Do not approach!”

“Step aside!”

Kenyan turned his head.

Lindsey was approaching the transcendents.

“Lindsey Kesion?”

Azhet couldn’t hide his surprise. He asked the knight blocking Lindsey.

“Why is that woman here?”

“She said she needs to see Lady Bianca…”

Azhet narrowed his eyes and glared at Lindsey.

“She’s really something.”

He knew she was a troublemaker, but he didn’t expect her to be so clueless about reading the atmosphere.

Leaving Bianca in Kenyan’s care, Azhet stood up.

“Lindsey Kesion, we don’t have time to deal with you.”

“I can heal Bianca.”

Azhet was dumbfounded.

He finally suspected if Lindsey had lost her mind.

Was she delusional enough to think she could use divine power just because she wanted to manifest it so badly?

Lindsey noticed Azhet’s thoughts.

“Don’t talk nonsense.”

“…”

“You manifested divine power?”

“What if I did?”

Azhet sighed.

“This is nauseating. Wanting attention…”

“Don’t delude yourself. I’m not seeking your attention anymore.”

Azhet stiffened. He thought this was just another show Lindsey was putting on.

Lindsey didn’t want to go to Kesion Marquis and wanted to catch his attention somehow.

That’s when Kenyan’s surprised voice was heard.

“Milady!”

Azhet hurriedly turned his head. Bianca was having a seizure.

“Really, move aside. We don’t have time!”

An impatient hand pushed him. Azhet was taken aback. He didn’t expect Lindsey to push him.

But when Lindsey pushed him, he also unconsciously moved aside. Lindsey quickly approached Bianca.

Azhet imagined what consequences her actions would bring.

Lindsey was about to be killed by Bianca in her rampage.

“What a thoughtless human!”

That’s what Azhet thought as he turned his head. He intended to subdue the rampaging Bianca as gently as possible.

But what Azhet saw when he turned his head was something he never imagined.

Kenyan looked at Lindsey in disbelief.

“Why are you here…?”

Lindsey didn’t answer his question. She grabbed Bianca’s wrist. Kenyan couldn’t help but be shocked.

Only now did he realize that Lindsey was in front of him.

“Do you want to die?”

“I need to concentrate, so be quiet.”

What on earth does she mean by concentrating?

Kenyan frowned.

‘Is she thinking about dying?’

That was the only thought he could entertain. Kenyan felt a chill in his chest. He reached out to pull Lindsey away, thinking she needed to evacuate.

But Lindsey evaded his hand. Kenyan looked at Lindsey with bloodshot eyes.

He couldn’t understand what someone without divine power was trying to do.

“Lindsey!”

“Don’t come over.”

Kenyan’s hand froze under Lindsey’s sharp gaze. Lindsey quietly surveyed her surroundings.

She could feel the gazes of the transcendents looking at her.

“Goodness, what are you trying to do now?”

“It’s nothing short of insulting Lady Bianca!”

“What can you do about a subject without divine power…!?”

Various negative emotions… and a transcendent on the verge of a rampage before her.

None of them trusted her.

Lindsey was familiar with this situation.

But she also knew how to turn the situation around.

Lindsey grabbed Bianca’s wrist.

A warm energy began to spread from her fingertips.

Bianca, who had been trembling with rage, began to slowly regain her composure. Her energy was quickly stabilizing.

The distressed expression on Bianca’s face softened.

Eventually, Bianca’s tightly shut eyes slowly opened.

Beside Lindsey, Kenyan muttered in disbelief.

“Divine power…?”

With Kenyan’s words, silence fell over the surroundings.

He simply couldn’t understand the current situation.

Bianca, who had just opened her eyes, also seemed to not fully understand what had happened. She absentmindedly held Lindsey’s hand.

Kenyan frowned.

‘Lindsey Kesion clearly didn’t awaken as a Saint.’

But what was this scene he was witnessing?

Did Lindsey awaken divine power after becoming an adult?

Was that even possible?

Bianca Rosette was an exceptional transcendent, capable enough to rival him. And yet, she was finding peace.

That was something impossible for transcendent beings as strong as himself and Bianca.

Kenyan wasn’t alone in his thoughts.

All the transcendent beings who witnessed Lindsey healing Bianca were looking at her with astonished eyes.

Some were so surprised they forgot to close their mouths. Kenyan felt an inexplicable discomfort in the gazes directed at Lindsey.

Unconsciously, he approached Lindsey and Bianca.

“What on earth did you do? Were you… a Saint? How on earth did you stop Lady Bianca’s rampage?”

Lindsey met his gaze. Kenyan finally saw Lindsey’s true self.

Lindsey, soaked in wine, looked pitifully frail. Her fragile body trembled faintly from the cold.

But that wasn’t all.

Perhaps due to the aftermath of using divine power, Lindsey’s lips were pale white.

She seemed on the verge of collapsing at any moment.

Kenyan recalled that Lindsey had collapsed not long ago.

He furrowed his brow.

“Are you really going out like that?”

“…”

“What kind of person are you anyway?”

“Kenyan.”

Kenyan snapped out of his thoughts at Bianca’s call.

His gaze shifted downward. Bianca, now composed, was staring at him sternly.

“Lindsey is under my protection. Don’t speak lightly of her.”

Kenyan sealed his lips at Bianca’s words. Bianca’s expression was the angriest he had ever seen.

She held Lindsey’s hand and addressed Kenyan.

“Lindsey will come with me. I owe her a favor. Is that a problem?”

Kenyan remained silent. He had no rebuttal to Bianca’s words.

In the past, he might have had something to say. After all, Lindsey was Azhet’s fiancée.

But now, Lindsey was trying to leave as Lady Kesion, likely due to a command from her mother, Sylvia.

Even if it was suspected that Lindsey had manifested as a Saint, that fact couldn’t be changed.

Moreover, Bianca’s demeanor was unsettling. She seemed sharp, as if she wouldn’t tolerate anyone touching Lindsey.

Kenyan felt puzzled.

“What’s the reason?”

No matter how lenient Bianca was toward impure blood, her essence was that of a transcendent. She didn’t typically antagonize fellow transcendent beings for no reason.

But now, if anyone touched Lindsey, she seemed ready to act sharply against even Kenyan and Azhet.

Bianca wrapped Lindsey’s body in her coat. Then, she moved on.

“It’s surprising that Lindsey Kesion used divine power.”

“More surprising is Bianca’s unexpected reaction. It’s hostile towards Azhet and Kenyan because of impure blood.”

“What on earth is happening?”

Listening to the murmurs of other transcendent beings, Kenyan closed his eyes tightly.

Inside the carriage, Lindsey met Bianca’s gaze and made an awkward expression.

“I had to reveal the fact that I can use divine power anyway.”

To break away from the Kesion family, she had no choice but to use her abilities. Her stoic father would never let her go easily.

But Bianca’s fervent gaze was definitely burdensome.

Still, Lindsey didn’t regret stopping Bianca’s rampage.

‘”She was the only one who cared about me.’

If it hadn’t been Bianca, she wouldn’t be alive. She recalled a motto from her past life.

‘As much as I am treated, I will return it.’

Whether it was a favor or enmity.
