Some memories are best left as memories.

Why? Because they get idealized over time.

As the years pass, we think back and smile, saying, “Ah, it was like that back then.” But if you were actually to relive that moment, your feelings might be split down the middle—half fondness, half frustration.

And for me, it was definitely the latter.

"Isn't it nice to be out camping with your sister!?" Leah exclaimed.

"Not really..."

"See? You love it too! Me too!"

She ignored my words, hearing only what she wanted to hear.

The result? I found myself kidnapped to a scenic mountain spot early in the morning.

And there was someone else who seemed unexpectedly pleased by this. Not a person exactly… more like a dragon.

"Grraawrr!"

"Isn't this wonderful, Yong-yong? The air is so fresh here! And the water’s perfect!"

"Grrrawrr!"

Yong-yong, who usually disliked everyone except me, got along so well with my family. If anyone saw, they’d probably think he was her summon, not mine.

Fine, why don’t you just switch sides…?

I glared at Yong-yong, who gave me a sheepish look and hesitantly came over to me.

“Grrawwr?”

“What? You want me to splash you with water…?”

No awareness at all.

But seriously, where did Leah get a camper van? And a driver’s license!? I’d always assumed she walked everywhere because she didn’t have one.

"And where did you get this camper van?"

"A friend of mine let me borrow it! They use it for camping."

She smiled proudly, flashing a peace sign. What kind of friend just lends their car? What if she got into an accident?

Next time I meet that friend, I’m giving them a piece of my mind.

“Alright! I packed some treats to make for my dear little sister! Want to see?”

“How much did you pack?”

She pointed to the camper’s fridge. I wondered how much she’d prepared to need all that space.

When I opened the fridge, my jaw dropped.

What… what is all this?

The fridge was packed to the brim. Even the freezer was completely full.

Were we really going to eat all this…?

"I went all out! My wallet took quite the hit for this!"

"Maybe too much of a hit…?"

She took my hand and led me outside, where she’d set up chairs and a fire pit.

"Let’s relax by the fire, then head to the river to swim and grill some meat!"

She mentioned even cooling a watermelon in the river. I had a feeling I’d be heading home five kilos heavier.

Sitting by the fire, enjoying the crackling flames, was surprisingly relaxing. Between studying and nightly gaming sessions, waving the flag of revolution, I’d been busy lately.

This was a nice change of pace.

As we sat, Yong-yong, who was snuggled in my arms, started pestering me to bring out some marshmallows. Since when did he like sweet treats!?

Leah, apparently anticipating this, handed me the marshmallows.

Anyone watching would think she could understand him.

"I was craving marshmallows too! And so was my dear sister!"

"Technically, it’s our little Yong-yong who wants them…"

"Aw! Are you embarrassed?"

Before I knew it, she was hugging me and poking my cheek playfully. It was driving me crazy.

If it were any other girl, I’d be thanking them with a bow, but my own sister was an exception.

No matter how pretty my sister is, in my eyes she’s just… well…

"Why are you looking at me like that? Are you thinking rude thoughts?"

"No, no, not at all!"

"Then why are you stammering?"

She kept poking me, demanding I be honest. I managed to get her to stop only after admitting I wanted some marshmallows.

Ugh, my life.

How did I, the Red Revolution’s leader and a dedicated student, end up facing such trials?

Oh, right… being a student isn’t really that great.

I put a marshmallow on a skewer and began roasting it, while Yong-yong stared at it, practically drooling.

Seeing his eager expression, I snapped a quick photo. He glared at me in protest.

"Oh-ho! Nothing in this world is free! If you want the marshmallow, you’ll have to cooperate for a photo shoot!"

"Sis, you know that’s my money, right?"

"Your money is my money, and my money is my money!"

"Come here."

"Non-violence, please!!"

After playing around with Yong-yong by the river, my stomach started to growl, so I went back to Leah, who was already preparing our meal.

For lunch, she promised us barbecue, which instantly made my mouth water.

I couldn’t wait to eat.

While waiting for the meat to cook, I went to the river to fetch the watermelon we’d chilled.

Then, an idea struck me, and I decided to hide it before calling out urgently to Leah.

"Uh, sis… it’s gone?"

"No way!"

Leah rushed over, her face turning pale as she found the spot where the watermelon should have been. She looked heartbroken, assuming it had floated away.

Seeing the tears welling in her eyes, I almost regretted my little prank.

"I was looking forward to that…"

"Uh… here it is."

I pulled the watermelon out from its hiding spot, and she gave me a stern look, switching her gaze between the watermelon and me.

"You dared to prank your sister!?"

"I didn’t think you’d react like that!!"

"Come here!"

Yong-yong gave me a pitying look as Leah started scolding me.

He seemed to be saying, Why would you do something like that?

Well, it was fun!

“Yong-yong was in on it too!”

“Grr?!”

“Oh, was he now?”

After some more playful banter, we were suddenly interrupted by a burning smell.

“Oh no! The barbecue!”

Leah dashed back to find the meat had turned into charred lumps of coal.

I jokingly said, “Hey, it’s all part of the memory,” but I quickly got a playful smack on the head in response.

“Ow… too harsh…”

Somehow, we managed to finish our meal and devour the watermelon as well. Sitting back in my chair, I relaxed, gazing at the flickering flames.

After this peaceful day, it would be time to wave the flag of revolution again, right?

I’d plant the flag right on the emperor’s doorstep in Avalon.

How dare he put a bounty on me? Just you wait, old man.

As I was plotting my next move, Leah, who was scrolling through her phone, suddenly looked at me with curiosity.

"Is this… you?"

When I looked closer, I saw a picture of me waving the flag of revolution.

Someone had called me the “Revolutionary of the 21st Century.”

The day had finally come—Leah had discovered my secret.

I’d always known this day might come, but I’d been hoping it wouldn’t.

And of all times, it had to be while we were camping alone.

She looked at me with a wicked grin, like a predator who had finally caught her prey.

“So, my little sister is out there causing trouble in a game?”

“It’s… it’s just a hobby…”

"A hobby, huh?"

Suddenly, she pulled me into a hug, rubbing her face against my cheek as she demanded I tell her all the details.

I mean, sure, we’re sisters, but isn’t this a bit much?

I wanted to say something, but I knew our parents would faint if they ever found out that one of their two precious daughters was out leading a virtual revolution.

This wasn’t exactly a “coming out” or a “room reveal”… it was more like a “revolution reveal.”

“So, you’ll keep this a secret from Mom and Dad, right?”

"Well, that depends on how my little sister behaves."

"Please…”

"In a polite tone."

"Please, sister."

"That didn’t sound sincere!"

"Pretty please, with all my heart."

"Louder!"

“No way! Fine, go ahead and tell them!”

Pouting, I puffed out my cheeks and begged her to let me go. She only chuckled, saying I was quite the expert at protesting.

"Seems like you’ve had some practice with these protests."

After playfully threatening to bite her, she finally let me go, promising to keep my secret.

“Really?”

“Really.”

She even held out her pinky for a promise, saying we could make it official.

But just as I reached out to link pinkies, she grabbed my hand and commented on how small it was, teasing me by giving it a little squeeze.

What was with her today!?

With our eventful camping trip finally over, we were heading back home.

I gazed out the window, hoping her driving would be smooth, when she softly asked,

“So, how have you been? You seemed a bit down lately. Feeling better now?”

“…”

She had gone through all this trouble just for me.

Feeling touched, I murmured a quiet “thank you,” and she smiled at me.

When we arrived home, I was about to embrace my mom and dad in a warm greeting—when Leah interrupted with a mischievous announcement.

“Mom! Dad! Guess what? You won’t believe what our one and only daughter has been up to outside. She’s been leading a revolution!”

“Leah!?”
