From the front of the cart where Vandalieu sat, Sam replied, amused. “Indeed, we waited three days while notifying the border guards and adventurers through the Adventurers’ Guild and the Sauron Duchy’s military, but your preparations took… about an hour?”

“It was thorough preparation, Sam, even if it took just an hour. Besides, that includes riding on your cart to avoid exhausting myself halfway,” Vandalieu replied with a calm smile.

Vandalieu’s mana was vast, nearly endless, and it continued to replenish due to his [Constant Mana Recovery] skill, even while in use. However, it wasn’t truly infinite. Moving a mountain range by turning it into golems, reinforcing the ground with thick rock plates, and adjusting the underground water veins required considerable energy.

Add to that the task of flying under his own power and eliminating monsters fleeing from the mountain range, and it was a nightmare scenario that Vandalieu had no desire to face alone.
