Cheong’s training approach involved the three groups each mastering the Triple-Path Sword’s primary forms—Middle Path, Swift Path, and Fluid Path—progressing through these techniques and combining them in the final eight forms.
In truth, it wasn’t the most efficient method. With multiple students working separately on three different techniques, it was hard to keep track of everyone. Even though there were three assistant instructors to help, Cheong was only one person and, unlike the Great Sage who could pluck a strand of hair and make clones, couldn’t monitor everyone simultaneously.
