Foreigners enrolling at the Imperial Academy isn’t exactly a rare occurrence. Compared to the overwhelming majority of imperial students, they remain a minority, and until two years ago, there hadn’t been any notable high-ranking officials among them. Nonetheless, the academy prides itself as an open institution where nobility and commoners, imperial citizens and foreigners, coexist.
