The door was broken open with magical power.

The light of the setting sun poured in, illuminating the dim locker room.

Dust particles floated in the air like fairies.

A tall woman walked in, backlit, the sound of her high heels clicking on the floor clearly audible.

Hearing this sound, the delicate and weak black-haired girl, trembling with her enchanting pink eyes, pitifully shrunk further into the embrace of the girl in front of her.

Hermione saw the scene before her eyes.

The blonde girl with loose hair, a first-year student named Celeste, Sequence Two.

She was gazing up at her with fear in her emerald green eyes, mustering up courage.

In her arms, tightly embraced, the black-haired girl was shaking all over, as if afraid of the light, tightly closing her eyes.

Gasping heavily, her face flushed like a tide.

On her upper body, the buttons of her academy uniform shirt were undone, the collar in disarray.

Revealing her delicate collarbone, covered in scattered kiss marks.

Her snow-white neck had also suffered.

The skirt on her lower body had not yet fallen off, still wrapped around her slender waist that had been held by her.

Her slender legs were drawn out from it, her pink knees seemingly injured.

But the distance from falling off… should be soon, right?

Hermione’s face was shrouded in shadows that couldn’t be illumined, her eyes full of ice-blue flames burning like a demon.

A chilling aura instantly swept towards Celeste and Adele.

Celeste bore the brunt of it, even frost forming on her brows and eyes.

In contrast, Adele only felt a chill, like a breeze blowing.

The owner of the wind seemed to know she was frail.

The power deliberately avoided her, only leaving a ripple.

Unwilling to harm her.

Even though she was really disappointing her.

Hermione, Sequence One, with her signature silver-blue long hair and ice-blue eyes, enjoyed the title of “Ice Queen” in the academy.

She rarely made a move, making it difficult for others to judge her strength.

But from the fact that even the princess of the Vampire Clan, who was hailed as the strongest in the academy, had to put aside her usual arrogance and treat her as an equal in front of her.

Even among the Sequence Ones, her strength should be unique.

Celeste had no ability to resist in front of her.

The gap between Sequence Two and Sequence One was like a chasm.

She wanted to cry out, but even her voice was frozen.

One after another, invisible frost blades tore through Celeste’s coat, shirt, skirt, and skin…

In just a short breath of time.

Celeste, who originally had overwhelming power over Adele, was already covered in wounds from head to toe.

The blood couldn’t even seep out before the wounds were frozen red.

But she still held Adele tightly in her arms, refusing to let go.

Even her fingers were cut open by those frost blades, the cuts so deep that the glistening white bones were almost visible.

The original work didn’t describe this in detail either, only saying “The frost cruelly tortured Celeste’s body and soul, making her feel the despairing power gap.”

Adele didn’t know what kind of pain it was, or how immense the despair was.

She only knew.

Now, it seemed to be an excellent opportunity to gain some favorability.

Therefore, she cried out in a hoarse voice, almost wailing.

“Hermione… Lady Hermione, don’t…!”

“Don’t hurt Celeste anymore, I beg you…”

How could Adele not know that this was, in a sense, “fanning the flames”?

Of course, she knew, but she still had to do it.

Having just transmigrated into the book, she wasn’t saintly enough to empathize with Celeste, the woman who wanted to violate her when her confession was rejected.

Even though her current refusal to let go was indeed very moving.

But Adele just wanted to survive in this cruel world of the book as her weak self.

And live even better!

So, she wouldn’t miss any opportunity that could be exploited.

And she acted so well, it was touching.

Celeste would never forget this moment in her life.

Adele’s pleas for her sake, and her cries.

Even on her face, usually frozen like snow, there was a rare anger.

She stepped towards the two, reaching out her right hand, and fiercely swung the back of her hand with distinct knuckles from a diagonal angle with force.

—”Slap!”

An extremely crisp sound.

Celeste’s body was sent flying, like a tattered, broken kite.

Crashing into the wall, even the wall cracked, and dust from the ceiling fell.

And on her face, the wound formed by this slap that could almost be called a chop, neither bleeding nor healing, actually emitted an eerie ice-blue aura.

Probably from now on, for a long time.

Celeste would have to live with this humiliating wound, under the cold eyes and ridicule of others.

As proof that she had received a lesson from the Ice Queen.

Generally, elegant vampires tended to use magical power to end battles without bloodshed.

But Hermione broke this common sense.

Anger prompted her to vent with the raw power of her body.

This was a plot point that wasn’t in the original work.

Adele’s “fanning the flames” plan was a great success.

This way, Celeste would be even more unforgettable to her.

And her jealousy and hatred towards the Sequence Ones would deepen in her heart.

As long as it was utilized well, it could become a very useful sharp blade.

As for Hermione, the angrier she was, the more it meant that Adele weighed heavily in her heart.

In this way, Adele could judge.

When she was by Hermione’s side, perhaps she could act a little more willfully.

Adele showed a frightened expression on the surface.

But the little fox in her heart curled its lips into a cunning smile.

Hermione scooped her up in one go, and amid Adele’s cry of surprise, held her in her arms in a princess carry.

Then she looked at Celeste, who was struggling to get up, still mumbling “Adele” with a bleeding mouth.

Her gaze was arrogant and disdainful from above. “This slap is to tell you.”

“Don’t overstep and covet what you don’t deserve.”

“Thing”—Adele’s eyes dimmed.

Hermione’s palm actually hurt too.

What a vulgar action…

But, it felt good, didn’t it?

Celeste, curled up on the ground, her brilliant blonde hair stained with dust.

Powerless, like a dead dog.

Celeste’s eyes were full of tears, witnessing Hermione taking Adele away from her side.

Then, those tears seemed to turn into endless flames, resounding in the sky of the academy along with the girl’s scream.

………………

“The sound of a defeated dog is really unpleasant.”

Hermione made her assessment, effortlessly carrying Adele in her arms.

But at this moment, Adele seemed unwilling to see her.

Therefore, she tightly closed her eyes, her long and beautiful eyelashes trembling occasionally as if having a nightmare.

Her lips were pressed tightly together, her face ashen.

Hermione’s mood also fell like the setting sun.

Did her words hurt her?

When she referred to Adele as a “thing”.

The expression she showed was so sorrowful that it made one’s heart ache.

But that wasn’t actually Hermione’s true thoughts.

However… she had to be mindful of her identity.
