The crowd erupted in cheers.

Having watched matches all day, most spectators were emotionally drained. Yet, Ice Qiya’s final move stunned everyone into silence.

Sure, Healing Light was known as a restorative skill, often labeled as a super-tier move. But theoretical knowledge was one thing; witnessing it firsthand was entirely different.

When they saw Ice Qiya, who moments ago was lying gravely injured as though it needed emergency care, stand up completely rejuvenated, looking as if the battle hadn’t even started, the audience was left with one thought: Is this even fair?

The reaction was explosive.

“Holy crap! It’s like a resurrection item in a game!”

“I knew Healing Light was strong, but I didn’t know it was this overpowered!”

“Whoa… so this is the power of a super-tier skill…”

“What’s even the point of fighting? That’s a divine healer right there! After all that effort, a single Healing Light undid it all. This could break anyone’s spirit.”

“Wait, what if I ask Qiao Sang to use Ice Qiya to cure my friend’s hemorrhoids…?”

“You want an endangered battle beast to use a super-tier skill for hemorrhoids? Dream on!”

“It’s not for me! It’s for my friend!”

Compared to the local audience of Hongrao Town, the atmosphere among the officials and competitors in the front rows was much more subdued, except for Wang Weidou and Sun Boyi.

“Congratulations, Principal Wang. Your school’s produced such an outstanding talent.” The vice principal of Xiongding High School beamed, showing no sign of the crushing defeat they had just faced.

Qiao Sang’s Flame Hound has already evolved into a Blazing Star Canine! How is this just talent? This is a fully grown tree! Wang Weidou maintained a polite smile.

“Your Liu Zeru performed admirably as well.”

“He’s no match for your Qiao Sang.” The vice principal replied warmly.

“I wonder if I might have the chance to meet her later?”

The tournament had been ongoing for six days, yet this suggestion conveniently came after Ice Qiya’s Healing Light left everyone dumbfounded.

Wang Weidou thought for a moment, quickly deducing the truth: This guy must be unwell.

“Are you feeling unwell?” Wang Weidou asked diplomatically.

The vice principal remained unfazed.

“Your insight is impressive, Principal Wang.”

So he is sick… Wang Weidou mused.

Qiao Sang finally broke free from the crowds and returned to Room 1203 at the Beastmaster Center.

Normally, people would just whisper about her from a distance. But today, their enthusiasm bordered on overzealous.

She understood the reason, it was all because of Lubao’s Healing Light.

If it were just one person, she might have considered helping. But faced with a horde, healing even one would open a floodgate of demands.

She wasn’t here to play the role of a saint; she was here to compete.

Qiao Sang poured energy pills into plates for Little Treasure and Lubao before setting them down.

After some thought, she summoned Yabao.

As soon as Yabao appeared, the room felt cramped.

“Yap...”

The massive beast hovered dejectedly in the air. Evolution wasn’t all he was cracked up to be, apart from looking cooler and growing stronger, he felt there was no other upside.

He wasn’t summoned as often anymore, and when he was, he barely fit in the room. Before evolving, at least he could move around a little.

“We’ll head home after tomorrow’s match. Once we’re back, you can do whatever you want.” Qiao Sang reassured it.

One look at Yabao’s expression, and she could guess what he was thinking.

“Yap!”

Yabao’s ears perked up at her words, only to droop again as he remembered something.

“Yap…”

Home wouldn’t last long before another competition. Then he’d end up back in the same situation as now...

“Xun Xun.” Little Treasure floated over to pat Yabao’s back with a sympathetic expression.

If he had once envied Yabao’s imposing size and majestic form, he no longer did. What good was a large body if he couldn’t perch on their Beastmaster’s shoulder?

Meanwhile, Lubao glanced at Yabao while munching on her energy pills. She considered her own petite frame, then lowered her head to eat even faster.

Qiao Sang smiled warmly.

“Don’t worry. Next time we’ll make sure you’re in a house where you can run around freely.”

In that moment, just imagining the scenario filled her with the joy of a lottery winner.

After comforting Yabao and giving him energy pills, Qiao Sang leaned against the bed, pulled out her phone, and searched for posts about the skill Iceflower Seal.

Iceflower Seal was an advanced-tier ice skill that caused snowflakes to descend from the sky. The moment the target came into contact with a flake, their body would be covered in blooming ice flowers, freezing them completely.

It was the skill Qiao Sang wanted Lubao to learn next.

However, advanced-tier skills weren’t easy to master. Despite several days of experimentation, she’d made no progress.

Browsing for reliable advice, she finally opened a post she had written earlier:

#Desperately Seeking Iceflower Seal Training Tips#

There were a few new comments.

[Leap Pet Training Center]: We offer a 10% discount and guarantee results. DM us if interested!

[Anonymous]: Why bother with Iceflower Seal? It’s hard to learn and useless at first, barely makes two or three flowers bloom initially.

[Shepherd Training Academy]: We have certified B-level trainers. Message us!

[User123]: Don’t kneel just yet, let me teach you first.

[Another User]: To learn Iceflower Seal, you need a weather-changing skill. Why not try learning Snowfall first?

[Random Commenter]: The skill is flashy and strong, but early on, it’s too weak to justify the effort. Maybe pick another advanced-tier move.

Snowfall… Qiao Sang pondered.

Many posts had suggested starting with Snowfall, but she’d initially dismissed the idea.

Weather-changing skills were almost all advanced-tier moves. Snowfall was no exception.

To be honest, a skill like Rain Prayer was much more practical and useful in real-world scenarios. Snowfall was limited to certain regions or romantic displays.

Most trainers who learned Snowfall were Coordinators chasing aesthetic appeal.

Advanced-tier skills required extensive time to master. Learning one advanced skill just to prepare for another felt like a massive time investment, which was why she’d rejected the idea.

However, with no progress on Iceflower Seal, the idea of starting with Snowfall resurfaced.

Water and ice elements offered plenty of powerful advanced-tier attacks. She didn’t have to pursue Iceflower Seal.

Yet when Qiao Sang thought about Lubao’s eagerness to grow stronger, she felt this skill was perfect for it.

Iceflower Seal was a standout among advanced-tier ice attacks. Once it reached its full potential of a hundred blooms, it was said to be unbreakable by anything of the same tier.
