As the sun gradually set,
I stood in the heart of a tranquil forest, glaring at the figure before me.
Sharp eyes, a distinctive trait of the Gu family, long black hair cascading down, and crimson eyes radiating heat.
The appearance was all too familiar, forcing me to tense my body to suppress the surge of emotions.
The woman tilted her head and spoke to me.
“Brother?”
The sound of that long-unheard title made me wrinkle my nose instinctively.
“…Sister,” I replied.
The words left my lips, and not only did my nose wrinkle, but my entire expression twisted. The woman was none other than Gu Heebi.
Gu Heebi, the "Sword Phoenix."
It bothers me how rash he is. I wish he was more level headed like his father. But interesting, I didn’t think their grandfather was still alive for some reason
rash ? bro did you read the same story as us ? we the audience know cheonma is more complex and could have some kind of explanation for why she did what she did but for the mc ? for what as happened in his previous life his reaction is 100% justified .for him she is the damn satan in his eyes , i actually think that he control himself pretty good all considering
I fully agree with Marcus8 he doesn’t know that she sacrificed herself and he only thinks that a calmity is not only in the same city as his dear ones but also literally with his sister. And as we know Gu clan is a clan full of tsunderes who spats curses but actually cares for each other. He is worried what cheonma might have done to his sister.
