Labyrinth, Fifth Floor.
Aside from Yujin and Professor Reina, the students had been scattered throughout the heart of the labyrinth due to the artificially induced teleportation triggered by magical artifacts.
At the center of the fifth floor, Yujin and Reina observed the events unfold, standing before dozens of mana screens.
Each screen displayed the landscapes visible through the eyes of students enchanted with a recording spell.
"Julian Johannes is certainly outstanding. I recall his previous labyrinth performance being quite impressive."
"He’s the second son of a noble family renowned for its magical heritage. Naturally, he would have undergone elite private tutoring before arriving here. Still, judgment and decisiveness are separate matters. He does seem to have genuine talent, though."
The two of them swiftly monitored and evaluated the students. Reina, despite appearing composed, was inwardly tense at the fact that she was alone with Yujin. However, she reasoned that if he had any intent to harm her, he would have done so long ago. Thus, she did her best to act nonchalantly.
