At 3:07 AM on a July morning, the voices of two people could be heard over the FPL Turkey Point Nuclear Power Plant.
The sky changed from a dull gray to a blue, then to an orange hue. To be precise, only a small portion of the sky that Logan and Lace were watching briefly lit up, then darkened again.
For a long 4 seconds, the railgun projectile crossed from left to right across the sky. It burned through the Florida summer dawn air, leaving a fiery trail behind. After fading from sight, it crashed somewhere in southern Florida.
This was the sight that filled Logan and Lace’s view.
