So, we had dinner together.
Since entering the academy, this was the first time I’d eaten with someone other than Kiana, so it felt… different.
The conversation was a bit draining at times, but thankfully, we just ate and parted ways without incident.
And then came the next day.
I woke up early and stepped outside.
