To win, one must first know how to lose.
It sounds paradoxical, but as I’ve said before, you learn more from defeat than from victory.
For instance, in professional gaming, something like this happens.
Team A, who was too strong, won no matter what character they picked. Even when they picked a Tier 2 character, they defeated Tier 1 characters.
As a result, the tier system for characters wasn’t established properly.
So, they handed over all the Tier 1 characters to the opposing team and ended up losing in the crucial final match.
In other words, to achieve a truly valuable victory, one must also be willing to experience defeat.
