The terrain had always been treacherous, but at some point, the winds had turned wild and vicious, transforming the place into a near-impassable wasteland. Since then, people began calling it by its infamous nickname: the Cursed Ravine.

‘And somewhere within it lies the Wind Spirit King.’

The change in wind patterns was a result of the Wind Spirit King settling there, altering the environment itself.

Asharion’s fated encounter with the Wind Spirit King had occurred when her travels across the continent led her to the Cursed Ravine—one of the faint fragments Karl remembered from her story in the game.
