Not sure, but they exist in every fandom. When I read one piece there were people who skipped straight to the latest arc, and when I read Jojo there were always people who skipped parts to read the latest or most popular
Mate, the reason we "came to love" these characters, is BECAUSE of the "yapping". If we didn't have moments where the characters simply sat and talked with each other or thought about things, the story would be hollow. The same with combat sequences like this, the whole Death Game, even. Why would we understand the deep connection they all have with each other if we didn't get to feel the overwhelming odds, the desperation, the elation at a hard fought victory?
And frankly, if you still can't trust G3 after they've written *this* much killer lore, dialogue, fights, etc, why are you here? Has there been "filler"? Sure. But you also need to keep in mind that he's been writing two chapters almost every single day since he started writing this. If the filler gives him time to think up some crazy shit, I'm absolutely more than fine with it. Who's to say the last bits of Weaver's lineage won't just fall into Sunny's lap? You've made it through 2,300+ chapters, have some patience.
