“So that’s how you figured it out…”
“Mhm.”
Hera nodded, but immediately followed up with another question.
“But if you’re married, why don’t you have a ring on your finger?”
Leon looked at his empty left ring finger with a bitter smile. Rosvisser’s was the same—bare. He thought for a moment, then stood there blankly before replying,
“My wife and I… our story’s a little unusual. Explaining it all from the beginning would take a while. If you’d like to hear it, senior, I can slowly... Senior?”
When Leon raised his eyes from his hand and looked at Hera, she had already dozed off with her head resting lightly on the table.
She was messing with me just a second ago, wasn’t she? But it was definitely Hera. She had been messing with him. Leon waved a hand in front of her face.
These two will never get married, because they don't truly love each other. It's relationship built on ruin and regret, so of course they will never marry and there is no real love. This series is a waste of time and energy. The author needs to stop dangling the carrot, because it's not going to happen.
Considering they’ve both confessed already I think you’ve really missed the mark. Also it was like. A whole character arc for Leon when he went to the future.
okay, and when was this? And he said it himself in volume 6, he never did confess.
So, according to your logic, if they don't love each other, why did Leon get depressed when he was trapped in the special magic circle? Rosvisser missed him because when he confronted Odin, he got tense. I mean, if they don't love each other, they shouldn't talk to each other, just act and maybe get along. When Rosvisser traveled to the past and a younger lion declared his love to her, she didn't reject him, she told him he was too young. When he said that, Rosvisser thought she wanted to have a life with the current lion, not another lion.
Their marriage is built on trauma and guilt. Why would they ever marry legally? They still hate each other and their kids are used to that.
