OMG The creation of the nightmare spell !!! I think Weaver is the Nightmare Spell, and its purpose is to contain the void from escaping bry using the "stars" or soul cores/shards from the dead deities (daemons and gods alike)
Maybe the Nightmare Spell was weaved out of the Forgotten God's Soul Sea, which would be the reason the Forgotten God would awake once all 7 Divine Realms were consumed by the Nightmare Spell. But that's just a theory, A NOVEL THEORY!
The fact that it actually makes a lot of sense considering the amount of lore we have learnt from the novel is actually terrifies me. It's like a plague infecting a realm with its residents unable to do anything. Also I miss MatPat

Weaver didn’t want any part of the war and yet he was hunted down. The gate to the void was open which means Dream god was awake, which the fact that all of reality is being swallowed by the dream realm is his revenge against the Gods that imprisoned him. Since reality is the realm of the Gods after all. I think the why was a defiant act because maybe Weaver felt a kinship with humans? And since the 9 was tasked with killing everyone so that there would be no slaves for War God domain, maybe Weaver gave humans a chance to defy fate itself? It’s getting really good that all I know.
