That line caught me so off guard I actually flinched in real life lol.
Anyways AMAZING volume, biggest lore drop of all. So looks like Weaver himself was the centerpiece for the creation of the Nightmare Spell which also looks to be the Cage for the Void. With that it could be the cage is purposefully leaking Corrupted creatures to create a being like Sunny to fulfill whatever goal Weaver has, most likely to also kill the Forgotten God.
Weaver broke the fourth wall, turned to Sunny and said "Hold my beer" and managed to kill all the gods. Now it's clear where Sunny's Aura farming habit comes from.
6th Nightmare Gate leads to the Divine, 7th fulfills the Spell's destiny. Opening its doors to whatever they're holding back. I knew i was right! Well, somewhat... barely. With very different wording and entirely different meanings.. but i think i was right!... partially?
End of Part I of Volume 10. Pretty sick, all these lore drops make my head throb, but it was great nonetheless. I would theorize too but what I have to say has already been said.
Holy info dump. I could be wrong but my interpretation of the last part is that Weaver used his soul cores to Weave a seal upon the void and maybe that seal developed to become the Nightmare Spell, meaning that Weaver not only became the Nightmare Spell itself, but maybe even made it with the purpose of raising someone who was [Fated] to become his sucessor or epigone as he put it. It also means that if Nephis really wants to destroy the spell she would be unleashing the Void in the process
So no one is talking about the 11 constellations ???? HELLO???? assuming each star is an individual, 11 groups of people ? im not sure to understand it corretly, my initial guess was that the 11 constellations are, in fact, 11 [Fated] individuals, but we only know 10 of them, the Nine + Sunny, Asterion being the 11th ? Weaver Himself could have been [Fated], would be ironic though. my problem comes from the "great stars that burned as brightly as the seven that had served as the catalyst to the explosion of silver strings" are we talking about other individuals as "bright" as the seven gods ? so other divine beings ? are we talking about individuals as important as the gods? or...are the 11 constellations, 11 [enchantments] of the nightmare spell ? my brain is a complete mess, sorry for the yapping
also, quick note, please, for the love of 6 seven dead gods, dont tell me G3 is doing a Eren yeager pls !!!!! i really hope not. IYKYK. like bro come on, the inspiration is so abundantly clear in this chapter
OMG The creation of the nightmare spell !!! I think Weaver is the Nightmare Spell, and its purpose is to contain the void from escaping bry using the "stars" or soul cores/shards from the dead deities (daemons and gods alike)
That would make sense, cause spell forces people to fight eachother and nightmares, and the shadow realm, if shadow god is dead then who are they giving there soul essence to?? I think spell is forcing people to fight nightmares so that when they reach in shadow realm they can be consumed by spell so spell keeps getting power to maintain the seal
Maybe the Nightmare Spell was weaved out of the Forgotten God's Soul Sea, which would be the reason the Forgotten God would awake once all 7 Divine Realms were consumed by the Nightmare Spell. But that's just a theory, A NOVEL THEORY!
The fact that it actually makes a lot of sense considering the amount of lore we have learnt from the novel is actually terrifies me. It's like a plague infecting a realm with its residents unable to do anything. Also I miss MatPat
For me this arc was quite boring except for the Sunny and Kain interactions, final fight and lore reveal
What a menace.
The lore dump was insane
Weaver is schizo
"Are you watching?"

Weaver manipulated a few strings, so its in his succesors nature to aura farm fs
I don't understand I think

This single chapter makes me want to cum and glaze Weaver like no tomorrow holy shit
Yeah I'm fully erect from that

For anyone wondering, Google defines an epigone as “a less distinguished follower or imitator of someone, especially an artist or philosopher.”
That was something..

He's a politician now
Same bro, he is a legend, and will continue to fuel the theory world forever
So do we think the souls of the dead gods are what powers the weave of the nightmare spelll?
Never mind that, what weave do you think he will get form weaver, My bet is on Flesh weave
Maybe Mind Weave, since the Puppeteer does Mind attacks, it would make sense
Mind Weave might make it so that he can shadow people and gain their attributes without losing himself, would make sense for the story
