Vol. 7 Ch. 46 Table of contents

It was another day that ended in late-night overtime. Leon had gradually grown used to this kind of life. Though—getting used to something didn’t mean he liked it. These past few days, Leon hadn’t been particularly happy.

He’d originally thought that once he started working at the academy, he’d have more time to spend with his daughters. That he could spend weekends at home with Rosvisser. But things never go the way you plan them.

But when Leon arrived at the training hall, he found the lights were still on. He stepped inside, thinking it might be Noa—but was surprised to find that it was...

"Muse?"

The little one was standing alone in the center of the hall, knees bent, arms open, a faint translucent magical glow hovering between her palms.
