Uijae helped Sa-young up—apparently he’d been shoved even harder than himself and had fallen flat on the floor. Sa-young ground his teeth audibly.

“That… fucking bastard.”

“Hey, forget it. Thanks to him, we made it in.”

“Haah…”

With a sigh, Sa-young ran a hand through his disheveled hair in irritation. Uijae slipped an arm around his waist to steady him and glanced around.

What lay before them was an all-white expanse—no ceiling, no walls, nothing but blinding white in every direction. No color but white. Uijae jabbed the floor with his spear. The pale surface didn’t so much as scratch.

“That’s strange. When my past self destroyed an eye, it didn’t look like this at all.”
