Silence.

In the quiet examination room, only the clicking of a mouse echoed. Nam Woo-jin turned back toward Lee Sa-young, who was lying on the bed.

“Judging by the bruise, it looks like a blunt-force injury. What did you even get hit by? It’s not like your abilities are gone.”

Sa-young kept his mouth firmly shut and exercised his right to remain silent. There was no way he could say he’d tried to have sex with J, gotten kicked by a heel, and cracked a rib. This was a serious matter involving the human rights and social dignity of the former rank one and rank two.

Scratching his head, Nam Woo-jin looked over the exam record the boy handed him.

“Your physical durability is still… pretty high. Normally, you wouldn’t even get a scratch from most things. What, did you get hit with a hammer? Or a chunk of concrete? Rebar?”

A heel.
