Just like Honeybee said, the aquarium on Monday morning was quiet. Well, of course—it was families and couples who mostly came on weekends. But even in the lull, they couldn’t avoid every gaze. He could feel the looks landing on them, flicking over like people were observing something.

Well, what can you do….

Uijae glanced sideways at Lee Sa-young. Hair that rose a head above everyone else’s, a face that couldn’t be hidden even behind sunglasses and a mask. It wasn’t just his face—his build, his height, everything about him stood out. A utility pole was walking around. How could people not look?

He’d never been naive enough to think a single mask would hide that kind of presence. Whatever—he was famous, so they had to accept it…. Uijae emptied his mind.

Without knowing their date was being live-broadcast on social media in real time.

They followed the viewing route markers and walked on. In the freshwater section they watched all kinds of strange fish you’d normally only see in the Amazon, and when they walked farther, an otter family appeared. Brown otters swam as they wagged their plump tails.
