The most famous name among the fallen, for the public, would be Lucifer.

Some denominations refuse to acknowledge Lucifer’s existence at all, but they do not deny the scriptural passage that the angel once called the Son of the Morning dared covet the Only One’s throne, fell, and plunged to the lowest pit.

And there is a word that never fails to appear in any depiction of Lucifer:

Pride.

Lucifer’s pride drove him to reach for the Only One’s seat, and the price was a fall from the heavens into hell and ruin.

As soon as the name was spoken and Lucifer’s figure was revealed, Henoch looked upon him and, with a sigh, said:

“Though the price of your fall clings to those vile wings, how do you dare to stand where He stands.”
