Tae Cheon-oh, driven by the burning desire to find the gold, had scoured the area where Tae Jae-cheon's mansion was likely to be. Fortunately, luck was on his side, and the mansion was located on a section of land that had uplifted.
"Where is this?"
"Where I used to live."
Startled again, Mu-won felt Cheongyeon's arms tightening around his neck. But it was only at a level that tickled.
"But looking at it like this, there's nothing much to see."
Most of the mansion had corroded, exposing the steel frame, and not a single piece of furniture remained. Even Darahan's garden had eroded under the sea, leaving only the site without a trace. The only place worth visiting was the mansion's basement, where the Peira had cleared a path. Even there, most of what was to be seen were gold bars, valuable artifacts, or jewels.
"You were... incredibly rich."
