After the Dungeon Boss died, the cleanup moved fast. There were already a lot of casualties, so we couldn’t afford to waste more time here.
I brought out the two bodies that had been lying on the floor and handed them off to the on-site management staff stationed outside.
“How are they?”
“Looks like they passed. If they’re not breathing.”
I was running on empty. I’d scraped together what little magical power I had left, then spent it, and on top of that I’d moved two corpses. I cracked open two magical power recovery potions and drank them, then tore open an energy bar from the communal pile and chewed like my life depended on it to satisfy the insane hunger.
Once the urgent cleanup wrapped up, reporters naturally pushed their way in.
“Can you describe what it was like inside the Dungeon?”
