The moment the name “Hwanin” came out of Youngin’s mouth, my mind went blank.
It probably wasn’t just me—Eunho and the White Tiger must have felt the same.
But in this place, only the three of us knew that name. Youngin and the other tiger clan members didn’t, and neither did Ungnyeo and the Wind Master, who had joined midway through the conversation. They reacted with nothing but confusion.
Hwang Jiho repeated the name “Hwanin” under his breath, then asked carefully.
“Hwanin? That’s unfamiliar. If it’s a body the Heavenly God targeted, it wouldn’t belong to an ordinary being, yet nothing comes to mind. Could it have been a higher existence close to the bear clan? Ungnyeo, have you ever heard of a bear clan member or higher being with a similar name?”
“Not within the information I was able to obtain. After the Black Tiger was erased, I spent a long time gathering information to find someone in the bear clan who could have tampered with my cognition, but I’ve never heard that name. Wouldn’t a Divine or the Wind Master know better than me? If there’s a clue, it would be in the heavens.”
As Ungnyeo said, if any trace remained, it would be in the heavens.
