Following the direction indicated by the marking crystal left behind by Odin, Leon and Claudia pursued all the way northwest.

Around midnight, they crossed beyond the borders of the Dragon clan’s territory.

At the same time, the crystal in Leon’s hand grew increasingly bright.

“Looks like they haven’t gone far,” Leon said. “We’re about to catch up to them.”

As he spoke, Claudia carried Leon through the night clouds in dragon form, her presence almost tangible in the darkness.

“Is everything proceeding according to plan, Leon?” Claudia asked.
