If we compare them, Lotm is more prominent in terms of mystery and deep world building. Klein is more mature and perfectionistic. Shadow Slave focuses more on action and power progression than mystery and the story progresses faster (most chapters reward you with a great fight). Sunny(mc) is a bit more spiteful and "flawed." My recommendation is to read at least the first volume. After that, you won't be able to stop reading even if you want to 🙃
