Chapter 34

“Xingxing, I heard that you took over an Editing branch?”

“Dad, you found out?” In front of Qian Duoduo, Qian Xingxing was quite carefree. “Let me tell you, our company has been around for too long, that’s why there are so many worms…”

“He actually secretly blocked so many talented streamers.” Qian Xingxing clenched his fist with righteous indignation.

Compared to him, Qian Duoduo was more reserved and tactful. “But he has also promoted many famous streamers.”

“But right and wrong should be clear!” Qian Xingxing thought he would be praised when he came home, but a basin of cold water was just poured over him, making him feel dejected.

“Not at all, I just want to ask Xingxing a question.”

“Hmm?”

“If a first-class noble from the Federation asks you to suppress a talented streamer anchor, how would you handle it?”

“I would refuse.” Qian Xingxing answered without hesitation. “Without rules, there is no order. Our company has its own regulations, and everything must be done according to the rules. When the streamer anchor is not at fault, we should protect them!”

His voice was strong and forceful, completely different from his usual playful demeanor.

Qian Duoduo paused for a moment, smiled slightly, and his gaze softened. “It seems that Xingxing is the most upright person in our generation.”

Integrity was the best compliment for Qian Xingxing. He looked at Qian Duoduo with admiration, but Qian Duoduo’s expression changed after turning around, and he unloaded his face of expression.

Integrity?

That was the last thing a successful businessman shouldn have.

The weather was just right, and Jiang Qiuqiu had already prepared herself and was ready to go out.

At the moment she opened the door, she felt inexplicably timid. Since coming here, she hadn’t ventured outside yet!

Adjusting the memories of the original owner, she took her terminal and went shopping!

The location here was in the Federal slums. Although robots came every day to maintain hygiene, the streets still looked quite messy due to the numerous houses and structures of various heights. The uneven buildings and various architectures made the place seem imposing.

Not to mention the somewhat aged and faded settings. But to Jiang Qiuqiu, everything was novel.

She had never seen houses with exteriors seemingly all made of metal like this before. People were all traveling on hovercars along the roads, and those with slightly better conditions at home had semi-reclining hovercars, like small boats flying in the air.

Jiang Qiujui looked at all of this curiously.

Following the prompts from the terminal, she rented a small foot-powered flying car from a nearby hovercars rental base. With the terminal as her guide, she flew towards the city center.

She set the flying device to low speed, partly because she was afraid of heights and also because she wanted to see the scenery along the way.

After a little over an hour of swaying, she arrived at the bustling commercial district. The central area of the Federation, where she couldn’t fly, required her to switch to ground transportation.

Soon, she reached her destination-the Federal Building.

This was where true prosperity lay.

Various crystals and other unknown materials intertwined to form this magnificent building. It looked similar to the LCD buildings of the 21st century, but upon closer inspection, it seemed to have a more majestic aura.

While Jiang Qiuqiu was examining the building, a line of text suddenly appeared on the building’s surface.

“Happy birthday to General Mo Si, Blade of the Empire!”

Then, the seemingly liquid crystal Federal Building actually started playing a video.

It was a scene Jiang Qiuqiu had only seen in sci-fi movies.

Shining brightly, large mechs with sleek lines and creatures covered in compound eyes and long horns engaged in a fierce battle. Suddenly, the mech leaped into the air, drew out a hidden electric sword from its arm, and plunged it down, piercing through the creature.

The building displayed many scenes of these silver mechs in battle. Jiang Qiuqiu knew from her memories that this was the true hero, Mo Si, driving the mechs.

Truly dazzling.

When she snapped out of her trance, she noticed many people around her also stopped to watch the video.
