That night, Li Tianyan lit up the lamp in his room to draw talismans. He didn’t prepare to go to bed until the morning hour was approaching. However, he heard a slight noise coming from the room next door. After waiting for a while, he said as if talking to himself, “Not sleeping?”

Li Tianyan’s voice was not loud, but Cheng Qi could hear it clearly. He turned over and replied in a low voice, “Well, young master, I’m a little scared.”

Although Tan Eyu didn’t look scary, it still aroused Cheng Qi’s fantasy about ghosts, and then he was so frightened by the picture he imagined that he couldn’t sleep.

Li Tianyan pondered for a moment and then said resignedly, “Come here.” As soon as he finished speaking, there was a rustling sound next door, followed by the sound of Cheng Qi’s footsteps running over.

When Cheng Qi heard Li Tianyan’s words, he felt as if he had been saved. He immediately hugged the pillow and ran away. It wasn’t until he stepped into Li Tianyan’s room that he finally breathed a sigh of relief. The fear subsided, and he felt a little embarrassed.

“Young master, I won’t disturb you.” After saying that, Cheng Qi automatically climbed up to the couch, took off his  shoes, and laid down to sleep.

Maybe knowing that Li Tianyan was in the room, those terrifying scenes suddenly became less scary. Cheng Qi fell asleep within a moment of lying on the couch.

Li Tianyan, who had originally planned to lend out half of the bed, was suddenly speechless when he looked at the person sleeping soundly on the couch. Finally, he just sighed in his heart, picked up a blanket, and covered Cheng Qi with it. Then, he went back to bed and laid down.

The room was suddenly filled with a familiar and comfortable smell due to Cheng Qi’s presence, and Li Tianyan soon fell asleep. However, not long after, Li Wu’s screams suddenly rang out in the otherwise silent villa.

“There’s a ghost!”

.

Cheng Qi saw Tan Eyu standing outside the door holding an umbrella early in the morning and remembered her breaking into Li Wu’s room last night. His eyes scanned her body inquiringly.

“I just happened to pass by last night. Who knew he suddenly woke up? I really didn’t want to molest him,” Tan Eyu was very angry when Cheng Qi looked at her. She was a good womanizer not a ghost who ate any man she saw.

“Really?” Cheng Qi already believed her after hearing this. After all, he didn’t notice Tan Eyu had any bad thoughts last night.

“Really, even if I want to be indecent, I have to find a husband like your young master,” Tan Eyu nodded, not forgetting to emphasize her taste.

But Cheng Qi didn’t feel the slightest bit happy after hearing this, “You are not allowed to have such thoughts about the young master.”

“I’m just using a metaphor, how stingy,” Tan Eyu curled her lips and spoke.

“It doesn’t work as a metaphor, it just doesn’t work,” Cheng Qi said in a rare strong voice.

“Okay, I won’t say anything.” Tan Eyu knew from last night that these two people were a couple, but later she found out that they were already married. She, Tan Eyu, was a principled ghost and was always upright. The married man had already forgotten by her.

“From now on, you should stay in your room at night and don’t run around, so as not to scare others,” Cheng Qi thought about it and warned her.

“I understand, but Master, you don’t really consider giving me a drop of blood? Just one drop,” Tan Eyu looked at him pitifully. She ended up like this for this mouthful, but in the end, she didn’t even get a drop of blood.

“Why do you want my blood?” Cheng Qi finally realized something was wrong. Why was Tan Eyu so obsessed with his blood?

“I’m not very sure, but my intuition tells me that if I take a drop of your blood, it will be worth at least ten years of Taoism. Even with this drop of blood, I can throw away this umbrella,” Tan Eyu raised her hand, indicating the oil paper umbrella in her hand.

“Just wait until I ask the young master about this.” Li Tianyan didn’t agree last night, so Cheng Qi naturally wouldn’t act rashly.

“The blood is yours; can’t you make the decision yourself?” Tan Eyu couldn’t help but wailed in her heart when she heard about that man again.

Cheng Qi stopped and looked at her, and said firmly, “No.”

.

The two of them walked towards the kitchen as they talked. On the way, they happened to meet Li Wu and Guan Haoran, who were busy greeting others. When Li Wu, who was leading the way, saw the woman next to Cheng Qi, his face turned pale with fright, and he quickly took the young master of the Guan family for a detour far away.

“Master, who is that man? He’s really good-looking. I like him. How about you go and find a matchmaker for me?” Tan Eyu looked at the man next to Li Wu shyly and said as she lightly touched Cheng Qi on the shoulder.

“You guys are on different paths, and there will be no good results,” Cheng Qi decisively refused without thinking.

“Young madam, you are here.” Xiao Liu in the kitchen saw the two people walking in and kept looking at the pretty woman next to Cheng Qi.

Li Wu’s cry woke everyone up last night. Xiao Liu naturally knew that there was an extra female ghost in their villa, but it was so late at night that he didn’t see clearly what the other party looked like.

“Xiao Liu, what are you going to cook today?” Cheng Qi ate a plate of dark sweet and sour pork last night, so he decided to stay in the kitchen to help out today.

Xiao Liu seemed to have thought of his masterpiece last night. He scratched his head in embarrassment and pointed to a dish on the recipe and said to Cheng Qi, “I’m going to make braised chicken today.”

“Well, then I’ll help you do it.” Cheng Qi rolled up his sleeves and nodded, full of fighting spirit.

But soon there was a commotion in the kitchen, “No, the book says that the chicken must be laid first.” After Cheng Qi said that, he threw a neatly prepared hen into the pot.

“Wait, we need to add the cooking wine.” Xiao Liu hurriedly picked up the cooking wine bottle and poured it into the pot while looking at the recipe. The next moment, a fire suddenly broke out on the pot, startling both of them.

Cheng Qi anxiously circled the stove, “It’s burning, put out the fire quickly.”

Xiao Liu looked around and directly picked up a ladle of water and rushed it down, extinguishing the fire in the pot. However, what he had just done caused the base material to be wasted, and the hen in the pot turned into a drowned chicken.
