Chapter 1524 Table of contents

Grey and Klaus were sitting in the man's office, the man was nowhere to be seen at the moment, but he was still alive. His life was connected to the array, and until Grey knew how to make sure there would be no unforeseen consequences after killing him, he didn't want to take the chances, yet.

"When is your dad going to give us the chance he spoke about? I'm bored here." Klaus asked.

"We still have to wait for the others, only after they've gotten to the Sovereign Plane can we start the mission." Grey said, he took a glance at Klaus and couldn't help but shake his head.

"Why don't you use this opportunity to train? Once Reynolds gets to the Sovereign Plane, do you think you can stand a chance against him and his Elemental Warrior?" Grey asked with a smirk.

"We're both in the First stage, why are you talking like you're going to be in any better situation compared to me?" Klaus snorted.

"Simple, because I'm stronger." Grey's words would hurt any other genius, but not Klaus.

"How's that a concern of mine?"

"You were the one who asked the question."

"Did I tell you I didn't know the answer?"

Grey could only give up, there was no winning Klaus in an argument. Since he didn't care, that was his problem, given how often he bullies Reynolds, Grey was almost certain Reynolds would take advantage of his current superior strength.

Grey focused on the array once again, leaving Klaus to do whatever he wanted. And just like that, another week went by with the duo spending their entire time in the manor. None of them left the place.

The bunny that was sent into the Gnome world had given Grey valuable information about the place where the portal was located.

The owner of the place was a Fifth stage Sovereign, and he wasn't the one standing guard there. The person standing guard was only in the First stage of the Sovereign Plane. Grey was confident in his abilities, and he was sure that he could take out this person without anyone else sensing it. His only concern was if there was an array there that was also connected to the person guarding it.

The bunny had been monitoring this person for a while and has pretty much gotten the general knowledge of his schedule. The Gnome spends most of his time there, but once every four days, he steps out to pay a visit to a lady. It is unknown what relationship he shares with the female Gnome.

Not just that, but Grey has also been able to find other information, such as the special rights some humans have in the Gnome world. Humans that have earned the trust of Gnomes, mostly necromancers, have been given special privileges. These people aren't treated in the same manner as other humans. Of course, they weren't equals with the Gnomes, but they could access some places the slaves couldn't.

"What do you think about us using this strategy?" Grey asked Klaus.

If they entered the Gnome world pretending to be necromancers under the Seventh Prince's wings, they would have more freedom to move around, causing whatever havoc they could.

"You can pretend to be a necromancer since you have the darkness element, but the rest of us can't." Klaus shook his head.

Grey could achieve this, but they couldn't. How could they pretend to be necromancers when they don't even have the darkness element, the most important factor of being a necromancer.

Grey nodded, he didn't think about this. He brainstormed and turned to Void.

"Is there a way you can put them inside my storage ring, just like you did to the Dragon?"

Void and the bunny leader seemed to be exceptions when it comes to not only stepping into the spatial storage even though they were alive, they could also put other living beings inside without any issues.

"It's possible, but since they are humans, it will be a little taxing." Void replied after some thought.

He looked at the bunny leader, and without hesitation he threw the task to it, "That guy can do it without any problems. Make him do it."

The bunny leader wanted to reject it, but when it saw Void's cold eyes, it shrunk its head back.

Grey looked at the bunny leader and recalled that it was even better with manipulating the space element compared to Void.

"I'll leave that to you then." Grey said.

He looked at his appearance and then with the help of his darkness element, his previous rosy complexion turned pale in an instant, just like necromancers.

This was the way most necromancers look, dried up and pale. The ones who have infiltrated Factions and some Families keep a rosy complexion so as to ensure they didn't raise suspicions.

Klaus looked at Grey and shivered, "It's that easy for you? Even I feel like attacking you now."

"Haha, given my vast experience with Necromancers, I've studied them to a certain extent. I even have an underling I lied to some years back. I wonder if he's still alive." Grey chuckled.

"Why don't you try to contact him? He can lead us to a Necromancer hideout. At least that's more fun than idling away here." Klaus' eyes lit up.

"I thought you were enjoying the food?"

"After eating it for so long, I've gotten tired of it."

Even Void had stopped ordering food some days ago. Klaus was the first to stop, it has been over a week now since he last tasted the food. Yes, the food was delicious, but he was tired of eating it over and over again. He had eaten everything they could prepare and was fed up with them.

Maybe in a month's time he would want to eat it again, but for now, he has lost all interest in that.

Grey chuckled and replied, "Don't worry, I should be done with the array in a few days, we will head out then."
