**Episode 009: Luck Is Power**

Realizing that I was an overwhelmingly overpowered existence, I suddenly felt relaxed.

“Well, let’s start by collecting the scattered treasure chests here. By the way, it seems there are different types of treasure chests.”

In front of me, there were numerous treasure chests, and apparently, the chests had different ranks.

In terms of numbers, there were fifty wooden chests, twenty iron chests, ten silver-like ones, four gold-like ones, and one that seemed rainbow-colored.

Based on the numbers, it seemed that the rainbow-colored chest had the highest rarity, and the wooden chest had the lowest.

I don’t know how many enemies I defeated, but it seems that treasure chests aren’t that common. However, with my Great Fortune skill, I probably have more than others.

It really feels like a game, and I can’t help but misunderstand.

“Anyway, this should be a reward for my hard work. I should gladly accept it.”

I defeated this, so I won’t let anyone else have it.

“Speaking of which, the most rare treasure chest should be saved for last.”

With that thought in mind, I quickly opened the wooden treasure chest.

Inside were gold and copper coins, materials useful for production, and potions in test tube-like containers for recovery, as well as buff potions that temporarily enhanced abilities.

Even in the wooden chest, there seemed to be quite a few useful items. I don’t know where I can use Adlukia gold coins or what to do with the seemingly useless coins, but maybe I can take them to a pawnshop or a buying store.

I don’t even know if such shops are functioning.

“Next is the iron chest.”

After finishing with the wooden chest, I moved on to the iron chest.

The iron chest contained many simple weapons and armor. It had an atmosphere that seemed to say, “This is what beginners wear.” When appraised, it said ‘Beginner’s Leather Armor’ and ‘Beginner’s Boots,’ so there was no mistake.

It seemed that the sword Sanada had was a higher rarity equipment.

I do need weapons and armor right now, but there are still silver chests, gold chests, and the main event, the rainbow-colored chest. It’s probably better to open all of them first.

“All right, maybe something good will come out soon.”

I began to open the silver chest.

In the silver chest, there were not only weapons and armor but also accessories. Weapons and armor included swords, spears, light armor, boots, gloves, protectors, innerwear, necklaces, rings, and bracelets.

Shadow Sword: A sword made of shadow bones
Shadow Lance ×2: A spear made of shadow bones
Shadow Light Armor: Light armor made of shadow skin
Shadow Boots: Boots made of shadow skin
Shadow Gloves: Gloves made of shadow skin
Shadow Protector: Shoulder and knee protectors made of shadow bones
Shadow Suit: A tight-fitting suit made of shadow skin that envelops the entire body
Poison-Resistant Necklace: A necklace that slightly reduces the chance of poisoning
Magic Power Ring: Increases magic power a little
Strength Bracelet: Increases strength a little

These were the appraisal results. The weapons and armor didn’t have any special effects, and the effects of the accessories didn’t seem to be that great.

Is “shadow” referring to those completely black monsters we defeated?

I don’t want to wear something made from their bodies, but in this situation, I might have to equip them depending on what I obtain later.

Survival is the top priority.

“Now, it’s time for the long-awaited gold chest!!”

Silver chests were like a warm-up.

From now on, it’s the main event!!

I immediately opened the four gold treasure chests.

What came out were a sword, a robe, and two bodysuits.

“This is a Steel Sword… In other words, a sword made of steel? It’s the kind of weapon that’s reasonably strong in the early stages of an RPG. The robe is a Concealing Robe, which reduces the wearer’s presence, making it harder for others to detect. And finally, the tight-fitting suit!! Equipping the Steel Sword and Concealing Robe is almost a given. I also plan to wear the Shadow Suit since it resembles the suit worn by the boss girls from Assassin Girls. It’s unpleasant, but I have no choice but to wear it.

“Now, the last rainbow-colored treasure chest. I wonder what’s inside?”

With expectations rising, I slowly opened the lid of the special treasure chest.

“Huh?”

However, what was inside turned out to be a shoulder bag. I felt thoroughly disappointed. I thought something amazing was in there, but a shoulder bag was nothing to be excited about.

Feeling dejected, I casually appraised it.

“Huh!? Seriously?”

However, the bag had an astonishing function explained in the appraisal.

Surprisingly, this shoulder bag was a Magic Bag familiarly from light novels. Its capacity was about the size of a twelve-mat room. While it might not be as vast as the commonly seen infinite capacity bags, there are no real bags that can hold so much in reality.

Moreover, its weight remains unchanged, and the passage of time seems to reduce to a quarter, allowing the preservation of perishable food items to a certain extent.

This bag would be extremely useful in surviving from now on. However, because of its usefulness, there’s a possibility of attracting attention if people find out about it.

I equipped the best gear for each category, stowed the rest in the bag, and concealed the Magic Bag under the robe to minimize its visibility to others. Of course, the bodysuit is indispensable.

With this, I should be able to prevent others from noticing it to some extent.

“All right!! Now that I know I have power, the next thing for me to do is find those guys.”
