Not likely. It would seem that shadow-based aspects keep you from gaining essence when killing things (unless they are shadow creatures, most likely), whereas Rain has already stated feeling essence flow into her. It would be cool if she somehow had a Divine aspect, though.
She definitely doesn't have a divine aspect, seeing as Morgan doesn't. Kurt progressed normally so I think Rain would progress normally with a shadow related aspect as well.
Damn that lake explosion reminded me of the Lake Nyos incident... lakes can be super deadly if they have trapped gasses...

I'm not sure she'll have an aspect yet. The awakened before the spell did not obtain/access their aspect and flaw until they achieve transcendence.

Sunny didnt get his aspect bestowed by the spell, the shadow god gave him the shadow slave aspect
