Volume 1 Chapter 46.2: A Conscious Wen Yang.
Ever since Wen Yang left, Ning Chu had been feeling uneasy, trying to distract himself by listening to music and watching TV, attempting to immerse himself in the shows to pass the agonizing time.
Meanwhile, Zhang Shaoqing sidled up to Wang Jie, grinning mischievously as he started gossiping.
“Hey, Wang Jie! Have you noticed? I think Ning Chu really likes Wen Yang.”
“Did you see how shy he was just now? His face is getting more and more like a girl’s.”
“And look at his chest. It’s flat, but there’s a tiny bit there. Do you think he’s secretly taking something for Wen Yang?”
But Wang Jie, being the dense guy in the story who wouldn’t notice a woman in the dorm even if she got gangbanged with the other two roommates every night, was momentarily stunned before shaking his head decisively. “Don’t talk nonsense, Ning Chu would be upset if he heard you.”
“No, haven’t you noticed how much Ning Chu cares about Wen Yang? He looked just like a newly married housewife just now~”
Wang Jie, focused on his game, glanced at the yellow-haired Zhang Shaoqing out of the corner of his eye and muttered, “When you were in a bad mood before, didn’t he care about you too? And he clumsily tried to comfort you. Does that mean he likes you too?”
“Uh…”
Recalling Ning Chu’s awkward comfort and apologies before, Zhang Shaoqing scratched the back of his head, unable to come up with a rebuttal.
“I think Ning Chu is just that kind of person—kind-hearted, used to looking out for his friends. Sure, he meddles a bit too much, which can be annoying, but it’s nice too. Why do you always pick on him?”
“You’re making Ning Chu sound like a saint.”
Zhang Shaoqing pouted, he turned to look at Ning Chu again, only to see him suddenly clutch his stomach, his face turning pale.
“What’s wrong?!”
“Nothing, nothing, just a stomachache.” Ning Chu quickly waved his hand, but couldn’t hide the smile tugging at his lips.
Having experienced it a few times, he knew that whenever the plot of a chapter storyline was disrupted, his body would react strangely, like with abdominal pain.
This means his interference worked! His efforts over the past two weeks had made Wen Yang consciously maintain his virginity! This stomachache surely meant Wen Yang had actively rejected a plot event!
Maybe the words he said to Wen Yang before he left were also crucial!
The magic has learned to defeat itself!
But, doesn’t this mean he’s going to become more feminine again?
Ning Chu’s smile quickly vanished, replaced by worry and sadness.
He wondered where he would feminize this time.
Previously, it was his chest, hips, and face, making him look more and more like a young girl just starting puberty.
When he first transmigrated, Ning Chu never thought that his initial boyish weakling appearance would actually be his most masculine form.
But if he left the plot unchecked, he would suffer even more…
The more he thought about it, the more dejected he felt. He slumped onto the table in despair.
“Ning Chu, what do you want for dinner?” Zhang Shaoqing shamelessly approached him. “Want to pool together for a discount?”
“I’m going to the cafeteria later.”
With only a few bucks left, Ning Chu was considering buying two packs of instant noodles.
“What’s good at the cafeteria? I’ll treat you.”
“Yeah, right.”
Not getting the answer he wanted, Zhang Shaoqing turned and ran over to Wang Jie: “Wang Jie! Let’s pool together for a discount!”
After about an hour, it was completely dark outside, and Ning Chu’s stomach started to feel hungry.
Slowly getting up, he walked out of the dorm, his face full of worry.
“Ning Chu! Bring me a Coke!” Wang Jie, the first to notice him leaving, shouted, “I’ll transfer the money to you now!”
“Sure!”
“I want an iced red tea, and a box of ice cream! Oh, and a strawberry yogurt too.”
Ning Chu turned back, looking at Zhang Shaoqing’s cheeky grin, and smiled back sweetly, “Alright, call me dad and I’ll get it for you.”
He had quickly found an opportunity to get back at him.
